In this video, we'll share the EMBARKATION DAY experience and boarding process for the CARNIVAL CONQUEST! We are FIRST TIME CRUISERS and we didn't know what to expect for embarkation day but we will be sharing our experience from the minute we arrived at the cruise port to the moment we stepped on the cruise ship!!! Embarkation can be a lot! We waited until after 1:00 to board. There were no lines, and the cabins were ready. Now that you've gotten the first one under your belt, you'll know what to expect, and it won't be as bad on subsequent cruises. 🔥🔥🔥 per usual! 💙💛💙

That boarding process was super long, I think we're going to work on our passports soon to eliminate that. We probably waited a few hours for our cabin to be ready, we just chilled on the lido deck. This really was a fun and exciting trip, we have so much more to share! I think we sold on cruising now, and the part that amazed us was this wasn't even the biggest ship. When you mentioned that to us, we were like whattttt there's a bigger one than this!!!! Thanks for watching fam!

We must say, when that time comes for you, make sure you have a passport to make the process go smoother. We have to work on ours, that was the biggest thing we learned from this. @KeepingUpWithTheGriffins LOL, good morning, oh yes. The passports give you lots more freedom and that wait period to enter your room is long. I didn't want to leave my sister, so we all waited. The best time to check in is 12:30 pm or so. Then you can hit your cabin right at 1:30 pm. It's definitely all a process. I'm happy you enjoyed it. That's a poignant part of cruising. That 1st time will leave a huge impact on you. 👍🏽 I'll see you in the next one Fam 🤎 Have a great day!

Hey fam! This was truly amazing! We definitely got to work on those passports because we had to stop probably more than 7 or 8 times to show identification, it got tiring. We didn't know that at first either about not having a passport but this one was just going to the Bahamas, so it only required birth certificate and photo id. The rest of the vlogs are going to be so much fun!!!

Thanks for taking us on board through your embarkation. I agree it is much better to have a passport vs a birth certificate and license. A passport is easier during debarkation also. Excited for more of your cruise content!

I love to travel by cruising and yes boarding is a long process if you get the pass that allows you to board early which I think its called faster to the fun I think your cabin is ready once you board you dont have to wait. Your first cruise!? But you live so close to a departure port! I know you guys are going to love it. It's our FAVORITE way to travel! The boarding process is fine until you have kids with you. Then it's the pits lol! But walking onto that ship, the whole vibe changes! Passports definitely make it easier, great tip! Looks like a great ship, excited to see the room!

This really was a fun and exciting trip, we have so much more to share! I think we sold on cruising now, and the part that amazed us was this wasn't even the biggest ship!!!!

They are super big!!! We were even told that this wasn't even the biggest, there's one that is twice this size 😱😱 It was a super long walk to get on, we were tired half way there lol! We thought the muster drill was a long drawn out process but it literally took all of about 3 mins and was just telling us about the life jackets. Before we went we didn't watch any videos on the process so we were completely blindsided by the whole process, so glad we captured the real on how it is. You are so right about having a Passport. I always confirm with my clients if they have a passport and recommend them to get one. A Passport Card is acceptable for travel by Land & Sea Only, Not for flying. Travel Insurance is a must as well.

Yep our first one and we enjoyed it to the fullest! Embarkation wasn't too bad, we just had to keep stopping to show identification. We got to work on the passports to make it easier next time. We were so amazed when we entered the lobby! The Muster Drill turned out not being as long as we thought it would be, only about 3 mins or less. The lido deck was a little wet, i think as soon as we got inside to start the boarding process that's when it started raining. @@KeepingUpWithTheGriffins pre COVID muster drills could be an hour. Everyone crammed side by standing or sitting. Then all those ppl trying to get back to their rooms to put the life jackets back. You are very welcome, I know you can't wait for your first cruise, you're going to love it! The room announcement actually came quicker than what they said. If i'm remembering they said the rooms would be ready by 3pm, but they were ready at around 1pm. We remember going through the boarding process, getting on the ship, doing the muster drill, went out to the lido deck and thought we were going to be there for a while but shortly after the announcement was made that rooms were ready. Personally think it's better to check the luggage in...depending on how much you have, if you have a lot you really don't want to be carrying it around the ship and lido deck until the rooms are ready. The only down fall to having it checked in was that not all our luggage arrived at the same time. Sorry for the long response but just trying to help your first cruise be as enjoyable as possible. @@faith6272 You're very welcome, happy we could help and give you some insight. With the time, we had watches. Didn't have to change anything on our phones though. We went from Miami to bahamas, so we were in the same time zone and didn't have to worry about it changing.
