Thank you. I just decided a couple years ago to combine the pics & videos of our trips into one video & put on KZfaq for family & friends to see. And if others enjoy some parts of them, that is great! But I just do them in chronological order as we do a cruise or road trip. It just makes it easier for us to look back at where we’ve been.

Thanks! Hope you have as much fun as we did! We’ve been on several cruises, but this was our first Alaskan. And we’d never been to Seattle. We loved it all. We liked it so much that we booked a 14-day Alaskan cruise on the Carnival Spirit for Apr 2024. Should be a totally different experience going that early in the season.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza. It was a nice hotel, great location, and reasonably priced…for Seattle. They also have a free shuttle to the port. We enjoyed this cruise so much we are going back in April 2024 for a 2-week Alaskan cruise.

Thanks for the kind words. Hope you have a great cruise. We had read several negative reviews of the Luminosa & watched several negative videos on the Luminosa. But we really liked the ship, and thought it was very nice. So that just shows different opinions. I would say the whale watching in Juneau is something we would definitely recommend. Along with the train ride in Skagway & the small boat excursion to Sawyer Glacier in Tracy Arm Fjord. Hard to say which of those we enjoyed the most. Thanks again. I don’t do these like most people who want you to see and hear them on their videos. I want you to see the scenery & occasionally hear what’s going on in a video. I do these to provide information, not to promote myself. 😃

@@mickeymorris thank you for that. Yes we have booked the train ride, and hope to do the glacier by third party blue bus at the wharf. We will take the whale watching on advisement. 😊 We did a 7 day island hopper in Australia to check the ship out, yes I’m an Aussie. We liked her and gave her the 👍 she was very clean, the crew were fantastic, the food was plentiful, I think you would be hard pleased not to find something to your liking either at the Buffet or the MDR Yes the linen tablecloths and serviettes are a little bit of luxury. I think the majority of the negative comments were from people who wanted the whole FUN ship experience, not taking into account she is an older ship 2009. The upper decks not having all those so called Fun things, makes it ideal for the Alaska cruising season. As I explained on other videos in the comments section, she only had limited time getting rebranded because the ship that was originally planned for this run was the Costa Magica but she was sold to a Greek Ferry Company whilst in dry dock getting rebranded, enter the Luminosa on a very short time frame. Carnival did the best they could with what time they had. It’s not the ships fault, people would be better advised to address all complaints to Carnival, not on social media. Appreciate your way of doing things, the scenery was lovely thank you, and info 👍😊 Think I may have to try that halibut and chips though when we are over there.😋

Maybe you can't handle criticism. It's a good video, but not much explanation just video. Which again is good. Don't get your panties in a rile. I'm not dogging you, but just saying it would have been nice to hear from you what we were looking at.
