Carnival Mardi Gras embarkation and sail away from Port Canaveral

Here is a video showing the embarkation process for us getting on the Carnival Mardi Gras in Port Canaveral Florida. You can see it took about 30 minutes from the time we entered the line to the time we stepped foot into the atrium of the Ship.

Those drinks should have been included on your drink package. The only exception is if it came in a souvenir cup, then you pay for the cup but the drink is free , and they do charge taxes while in port and U.S. waters.

Interesting! They charged the guys. It’s not the first time either. We went out on Carnival Freedom last September and the “celebration drink” at the Pool was also charged to us. So you are saying since it wasn’t in a souvenir cup, then it should’ve been included?

Yes, I’ve never been charged for embarkation drinks. Texas and I believe New York are the on,y ports that don’t allow drink packages while in port. From Florida you should not been charge except for taxes
