Halafu pia kenyans need to understand lane speeds, overtaking sides and indicating on major highways. Kwanza thika road, the most inner lane ni ya express movement, halafu unapata jamaa na nduthi anaenda 50, people need to learn

Overtaking while others are overtaking without thinking about how much distance is still remaining, I've had to exit my lane many times to let miscalculated oncoming drivers to finish overtaking and this is very dangerous, Another one you should emphasize on is people who refuse to keep left on the climbing lane, mtu ako na gari slow na amekatalia climbing lane this is very frustrating

This afternoon a lady in a Honda fit was involved in a terrible accident on Northern bypass heading to Kahawa west. The recipes for this accident were, high speed, the lady was talking on the phone with hubby, and she tried to overtake a motorcyclist carrying some bags of charcoal recklessly. She hadn't noticed seen the oncoming car, and when she did, she swerved to avoid a head on, hit the motorcyclist, and her car somersaulted and flipped upside down into the storm drain besides the load. The cyclist was saved by the charcoal he was carrying, as the car rolled over them, but she was badly injured....the advise given above is amazing, but I wonna insist, full attention when driving, leave toying with phones.

kindly do a video of drivers to learn to turn on their lights in situations when its a little bit dark outside especially when the clouds zimefungana, labda kunakaa kunyesha. some drivers assume since its not at night lights should not be turned on. and also try to find for us other road code that we can use to help other drivers around us and also us personally.. like for instance when one wants to overtake na labda hakuwa ameona an oncoming car you will find the driver infront of u will turn his/her left indicator to let you know that its not safe or when letting another driver enter the road one might blink his / her headlight once....e.t.c

Truly the driving curriculum needs to be reviewed. 1. Things like situational awareness and a creating safety cushion need to be standard instead of only defensive driving. 2. Reaction time needs to be emphasized especially at turning points; some people don't indicate, or still turn abruptly, and we have far too many stories of accidents that came that way. We need to emphasize on not only our own reaction time but that of others. 3. Distractions need to be addressed as passengers being the driver's keeper. You can't see if the next car's driver is distracted but the passenger can. We are the ones to take charge of each other's safety. 4. Sitting position! Comfort is king. 5. Overtaking as well - too many assumptions end up hurting people. What I'd like to see: 1. How to drive when your visibility is suddenly obscured (e.g. by high beam). 2. Lane use - too many drivers hog lane space making it hard for other drivers to anticipate their next move. Especially on unmarked lanes like Mombasa road, it's getting out of hand. 3. A culture change from assuming that the next driver is mad because it doesn't serve safety. We all need safety. I think we'd drive differently knowing that the next driver is a parent or sibling instead of an insane person incapable of reasonable consideration or action.

I have a huge disagreement on two subject. The hands positions & things you do wrong driving on the highway. I am not a critic, and I am a huge fan of the videos you post, but driving is a whole new topic for me. Safety is what saves lives. Driving is a very delicate and vital part to determine what's wrong or right. Its about what is SAFE. I believe all sane Kenyan drivers have one cardinal rule which is always rule no. 1 to most but to me its rule no. 2 Rule 1: Any car without a proper braking function is not worthy to drive if you care about your life. Rule 2: Assume all drivers on the road are mad and that you are the only sane driver. The rule might seem like an insult but rather the insult that save a life than the latter especially when it comes to...and you said it "Dere wa Nganya" That is why saying wrong leaves no room to flex with, and leaving room means that even if " niko kwa roundabout and nganya, lori, ama mtu yoyote ana karibia junction yangu at a high speed and showing no sign of stoping,... I slow down, wacha mjinga apite," No traffic police will stop him, its Kenya after all but, tutapatana na yeye akiwa kwa mtaro akiniomba kamba nimtolee gari kwa mtaro, and my reply shall be... "Ulikuwa unafanya nini? Kuna safari rally ulikuwa unaenda??" And the hand positions call for what situation you are in. BUT YES AND YES AND YES. ON THE HIGHWAY 9 & 3 OCLOCK. BEST CONTROLLING POSITIONS, so that I don't confuse your followers. So be specific when 10 & 2 OCLOCK is applicable. DON'T CROSS YOUR ARMS FEEDING HANDS AT LOW SPEEDS AND WHEN ONE HAND IS USED. The others... well... like I said SANE AND INSANE DRIVERS ON THE ROAD.

For us ladies, we remove our shoes when they are high heels coz the high shoes get spoilt at the back when you drive with them.. so i prefer driving with flats..i don't know why a man will remove his shoes since they are always in flat shoes. As for driving bare feet being illegal, the argument is your feet can sweat and make you slip when driving and that can cause an accident.
