This was stage 33 at CBS... the same soundstage that they taped Carol's show. The same soundstage that they always used and still do, for The Price is Right. Carol, Vicki, Jim Nabors and the other guy were in rehearsals for her show on this day in 1978. Many shows used this stage and still do. It is in the same building with stages 31, 41, 43. Sonny & Cher were done on Stage 41, All In The Family was done on Stage 41, just so much history in that building at 7800 Beverly Blvd in Hollywood!
@sriv942 жыл бұрын
Actually, the day this week of shows was taped was when CBS taped its "On The Air" celebration (earlier in the week, Gene hosted MG clad in a tuxedo as he was taking part as well). So the Burnett regulars and Nabors were all in the building to take part in that celebration, and crashed the "MG" taping. (Believe the tape date was 12/7/77.)

Vickie & Carol, are two of the three funniest ladies in all of Hollywood. The third was of course Lucy Ball/Arnaz. Would have been something if these ladies got together for a sitcom or a movie. And then Jim. The most down-to-earth person with the most purist baritone voice one will ever hear. How I miss seeing them perform.
