Blue eyes can be in any season. As to strawberry or red coloring, the key is when you had it in your hair. If it is pre-puberty it doesn't matter where you will end up. If it is post puberty/adolescence you will be either spring or autumn as red in the hair is an obvious sign of warm undertones.

How's the clarity of your skin? Clear or creamy? Pink or yellow undertone?

I’m confused because I got true summer and I have yellow skin especially next to most other white people. But I guess you can be yellow and cool and it’s olive or something

@@KalamityKim there is a difference between yellow based skin (often looks apricot or peachy) and sallow skin which is actually cool undertone skin that picks up a yellow surface color when next to warmer color. Draping will draw it out. Warms like me will pass color analysis checks (lifted jaw, clarified skin, harmony) with the warm colors against us and flunk those checks (loss of definition of the jaw and other face features shadowing and other facial flaws, noticing color before us, and even negative color properties like bluing or graying of the skin) in the cool colors. It will be vice versa for the cool person. Cool colors will benefit them and warm colors will not only be off but will yellow their skin in an unhealthy way like they have jaundice. Most even lay people can tell the difference between warmth and sallow but the trained color analysis professional definitely should be able to.

I relate to this. My hair is light/med ash brown/taupe. My skin is yellow (very obvious in photos next to pink people). Many colour analysis articles will tell you that yellow means warm. I realized recently that yellow skin can be warm OR COOL yellow, and mine is cool yellow. So yes, I look better in gold and deep rust reds, but look better in cool pinks and purples of a dusty/muted sort. So I can pull from autumn and summer. You may be a true muted. Look at her articles/vids on true muteds. We can swing either way often. It's its own palette.

True summers are a balance of the qualities that make a summer well a summer: they are light in value, cool in undertone, and soft/muted in intensity all in perfect balance. So they sit in the middle of summer and don't flow. They will be deeper than the lights, not as cool as the cools, and brighter than the muteds. Does that mean a blonde can't be a true? Not necessarily but they will need to not be as light a blonde as the lights. Their "blonde" will be more medium in value more ash or beige in color.

@@cathwalsh9921 remember that bright spring is a mix of spring and winter. So you will only be neutral warm rather than fully warm as winter will be "mixing" with your spring and influencing your coloring. That may be why sometimes white or blue comes across with the red in your hair color profile. You could also get a second opinion just to make sure bright spring is correct since your consult and your hairdresser are sort of giving you conflicting information. I was incorrectly analyzed the first time and it had to be corrected with a second session with a different consultant. Also I don't know how many salons over the years have tried to push cooler hair colors on me (I have dark golden blonde hair with auburn tones in it and I am warm spring). Having another professional come in wouldn't hurt and may clear up any confusion as well as confirm or correct previous results.

Yes. I am cool yellow toned. My sister is pink toned. Although I'm not sure which season she is. I believe I may be true muted.
