I like your painting. The background looks like outer space. A SS Enterprise should be floating in the black background. You are right. We all tend to gravitate to a comfortable positions. You are comfortable with string pulling and I feel comfortable spinning my art. I enjoy your work.

New subbie here, love this video and thank goodness you knew when to stop lol. I have watched a few other videos of this technique and they never stop when it looks good. Very very pretty. I find by using a chain necklace e it really works well. Then you just reuse a couple 2 or 3 times.

Beautiful Carole. The colour combination was perfect. In fact the background was so beautiful that it could stand alone. I looked like the surface of the moon. lol. One question though. You gessoed the canvas because it was wood or you would do it also on a normal canvas? How do you apply the gesso? could you please explain because I have no idea how or why should it be done. I am now starting and I am completely ignorant but willing to try and delight myself with this type of art. Thank you so much. I love your work.

Hi there...love the string and chain pull methods. I haven’t done it on top of a pour but that’s next! Can you tell me, on a pour, why sometimes you get teeny tiny cells, and other times you get larger cells? I know the more you mix the silicone, the smaller the cells, but in this one, you get both??
