Really hope we get a coach next year who is strong enough to put Tepper in his place. I think the right coach will keep him from meddling.

Great insights. Here’s my thought….why not just keep Tabor as interim coach for the entire next year and try and trade all your picks this year. We will suck for one more year, but that might be the stupid tax we need to pay to get things back on track. We will probably suck anyway. Then get the coach and the pieces Bryce needs for 2025.

Nice job. I like "winning solves everything". Its so true. Assuming Tepp will never admit defeat, I do think he will "use" this professional debacle as his turning point in his ownership habits. It could be one of the greatest comeback stories of all time. He hires a firm to hire a general manager. He completely pulls out and goes totally dark. Then the general manager has full reign & hires a head coach and the coordinators and so on. Three years from now the Panthers become a championship level team and Tepper will get all the pats on the back for humbling himself yadayadayadayada. Winning solves everything.

Tepper OBVIOUSLY don't know or give a damn about Carolina, and it shows. Witness him deconstructing our team. Witness him constantly making football decisions with zero football knowledge. Witness him putting Mr Peaches from prison out there in a cheerleading uniform. I'm just hoping Tepper makes a habit of launching drinks at people and the NFL makes him sell the team.

As someone who was a washington fan before becoming a Panthers fan, I'm not as offput as everyone down here by Tepper. Yes he has meddled too much, but he hasn't tried to pimp out cheerleaders, or demanded that employees never look him in the eye, or flee to europe to avoid a congressional summons, or dumped raw sewage on his fans. I think he needs to just hire a new GM and coach, go to Europe for awhile, and let football people do their thing.

I think we are gonna loose a draft pick cause of this, possibly our 2nd rounder. Make sense, Tepper don't care about a fine, and if he is suspended his wife will just be the go between, so that's the only way they can do anything that has an effect.

Let’s take away the wealth aspect of the situation. Dude is a east coaster through and through. If you talk 💩 most east coast dudes are going to respond accordingly it’s a east coast/manhood thing more than a rich guy mentality. When it comes to Tepper although he’s the owner of the Carolina Panthers he’s a Steeler at heart. So, if you look at him as a Steeler his response fits the situation. If you talk 💩 to a Steeler, Raider, Raven, or a Bear that’s the reaction you’d expect from the behavior of their team culture. If it’s any other franchise I’d expect them respond in a civilize manner.

I agree that Tepper doesn't care about the average fan; but then again none of the owners of any NFL team really care about the fans, they are too rich and they have egos bigger than the moon...however I have a slightly different take on the Tepper situation. Initially I felt that he was a negative influence on the Panthers and obviously he has made some very bad decisions, but it is apparent that he "wants" to win. I'd rather have a passionate owner that tries to win regardless of the costs rather than an owner that views their franchise as nothing more than a business investment. How many owners would hesitate to correct an obvious mistake like hiring Frank Reich and doom the team to 1 or 2 more years of mediocrity, hoping everything would work out? I like the fact that once it became obvious that Reich wasn't the guy, he acted and made a move. It may end up being a bad move, but for better or worse he is pro-active. As to the outrage of him throwing the drink, I've thrown several things at the TV this year while watching the Panthers so I don't fault him for that!!
