Bryce is a great quarterback. He showed what he can do with his receivers get open in the offensive line protect him a little bit versus Green Bay.

Green Bay, Houston, Tampa, he had his moments. I’m just reacting to these dumb 2025 mocks that have Carolina picking #1 overall and if that happens something went wrong

Canales and Morgan will never admit this but... The off season was obviously devoted to getting Bryce all the help possible and IS without a doubt going to be an evaluation year for the QB position. Personally, I believe Bryce has what it takes; But make no mistake this IS a make or break year for Bryce Young.

I don’t see a world where Bryce Young doesn’t show improvement this year. We all know what Bryce is capable of and I think he’ll show more of that this year. That’s my guy and I’m riding with him and anybody giving up on him already has no clue how tough it is for a rookie qb in a bad situation.

Just as with any athlete who has a bad first season, he will have to show significant improvement if he wants to be the Panthers' franchise QB. It's just business. There is always someone else who wants that job.

Bro, Bryce had no where to go with the ball last year. Look at the QB school breakdowns. Last year was 100 percent not his fault. No protection up front, Receivers who couldn't separate. He'll be much better this year.

Quit putting it all on Frank. It started at the top With Tepper and Fitt. They didn't hire the best coach. They hired a offensive guy just like everyone wanted. Then they didn't let him hire his own people. Canales is getting the coaches he wanted. A big difference guys.

Bro a lot of it was on him tho. His play calling was awful and when he was in Indianapolis the line was considered “ bad” but when he left they became a top line in the league. It’s a good amount of blame on him

Important to note that a majority of the people who wanted an offensive mind wanted a *young* offensive mind (Johnson, Steichen...), not an old fart the have had long since passed by.

Bryce is SMALL and takes a long damn time to process ...which he did back in college too. Thing was he had the O-line then to take his time. He doesn't now. Unless he makes a mad jump here, we're going to be going qb fishing again.

If Bryce can get us 7 wins then I will eat my words. But if he’s trash again, then all Bryce fans need to apologize to is Bryce haters. Our defense is 🔥🔥. They will keep us in every game. Bryce just needs to be a game manager. We need to run out offense through our RB’s. Stop throwing pick 6’s. If we do good this year, it won’t be because of Bryce, but if we suck, it will be on Bryce. I’m so excited to see Shaq back and seeing sacks. Can’t wait

I think so, he's always been a work first kind of dude (the photos of CJ in a club and Bryce training last offseason come to mind) but with his poor season last year there's even more incentive to keep his head down now.

i wouldnt say to win, but the pressure is on for Young to perform. i think if Young doesnt hit a 93-ish QBR with about 260 YPG and 20 touchdowns with fewer than 10 turnovers (which i think are completely reasonable numbers). obviously we will win more with better QB play but if Young can't step it up INDIVIDUALLY the organization will start to explore other options. because giving rookies chances to develop is great, but you gotta expect more than 2700 yards and 11 touchdowns on FIVE HUNDERD AND THIRTY ATTEMPTS with 16 turnovers. thats just putrid and completely unacceptable. a vet QB with those numbers gets benched after 4 games.

@@xisojoe-5304 im not saying Bryce's performance was 100% his fault but at the end of the day he threw the ball 530 times and picked up less than 3000 yards. thats just not gonna cut it at the NFL level, whether or not you have a good team around you.

@@PanthersFan44 yeah throwing the ball to the slowest slot in the NFL and still got him to 1000 yards that offense had 0 talent on it. i’m surprised he had 10 tds with that putrid offense with no running game either
