I'm a 54 year-old, black man, funk music and original hip hop fan, but i've loved Karen Carpenter's voice since I was in elementary school. I'd have listened to her sing ANYTHING.

200 years from now people will listen to this and say "how beautiful is that"

Besides Karen's perfect pitch angelic voice, Richard's piano is absolutely amazing and his arrangements are brilliant. There is nothing today that compares to this. Pure magic!

The little drummer girl from Downey and her genius brother will always matter, because we'll always listen and appreciate and love their efforts. Richard is turning 75 years old this year; Karen Anne, God love her, would be 71 in about 3 weeks; if I reach 100, I'll still listen and love'em.

Leon Russell wrote a dandy with this one. I love Karen Carpenter's voice-her version of 'Superstar' is as pure as it gets. Her version of this is perfection, because her voice is so, so distinct. That said, I love Leon's version of his master piece. RIP both of them.
