after threading on the hook might be easier to then tie in the hair loop and work from there

Unfortunately the way its tied I do believe you cant but try it as that's what it's all about progression and improving our sport even it's just small step..tight line and thanks for the reply..

Jon. Could this hair rig idea work on rivers for Chub & Barbel, on wide gape hooks & bottom baits do you think? I like the idea that I could get the bait tight to the shank for some tricky chub that I'm after. 👍

Quality looking rig thank you. Would you be looking to add some form of rig putty or soft shot if using a wafter? And can it be used for an actual pop up? Thanks in advance.

If the wafter is lifting the hook then a soft shot under the water will counter balance it. You can also trim down the wafter to get in to sit correctly.. any questions please feel free to ask.. all the best

@@CHUNKSTV Thank you. Could you tell me how you complete the rig? With regards to rig tubing? Lead clip system? I use rig tubing normally but don't really know why to be honest.
