Hahahah thanks, Paul 🤣🤣!! Don't tell The Stan. He believes he has the prettiest helmet on KZfaq!! I have to say I didn't expect the Beemer to be as long of a wheelbase and as heavy as it was, but pretty satisfied with the lap times now and I think our friend will be too. 💪🤘

Brother, we are of the same mindset when it comes to new ppl racing. I want everyone to come over and have a good time. That means having a good selection of cars to drive, however, nobody who comes over feels bad about bumping cars lol. You have more caring friends😂 I had that BMW in my hand next to the shell livery and I couldnt decide. So gorgeous. I ended up passing for the mommnet but its on my list. Good tuning tips as well🎉🎉

I can already tell Joe, you would be a heck of a host and am jealous of anyone who gets to run with you guys! 😂 Same here, it was down to the Shell livery or that flat black Schubert Motorsports. I just saw the real car on KZfaq and it swayed my final decision. I love the Shell one just as much, though.

I actually got a nice deal on one of these - I run analog, and Great Traditions was offering a digital version that had the chip pulled which they were selling for $29.99. I may add the lights back in, but that black and green livery is super sharp. Your tuning tips are very helpful, too. Great job! 👍

Thanks Mark!! I love GTslots for that reason as well! I have also picked up a few cars stripped down in the past from them. It is great value, especially when trying to keep up with all the liveries on your favorites list😅. Can always add a chip and lights in at a later date like you said, but at least secure the car in the meantime!! 👍

Very nice work Ryan! I certainly doesn't take much tuning to get results, it just depends how far you want to go and how much money you want to spend lol. Weird with the cracks on the chassis like that. I have not yet experienced that with my Carrera cars. I seem to get all the odd issues with Scalextric and Scale Auto cars. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Dave!! You are right about that! It can be as simple or as expensive as you like, that's for sure! Yeah, that is my 2nd brand new Carrera car with the chassis being cracked upon opening. They were almost impossible to screw off of the base lol. Not too big of a deal I guess, more of a bummer than anything because that kind of stuff bothers me as I like to keep everything in as nice of shape as possible 😄Thanks for hanging out once again! I got a bunch of NIB Scalextrics rearing to go for the next video. Hoping no odd issues pop up with them😅🤞

Thanks Nico!! I was quite happy with the results as the BMW isn't as small a car as I would have thought! Definitely a longer wheelbase and a bit heavy, but still turned out to be a good runner. I may try super glue/Nail polish hardener on front tires on one of my next cars. Never tried that out yet and quite curious...😄💪🤘
