Actually, I think some people just have it. I've always been quite religious towards my heels, this also involves wearing them to the most non-heel occasions and frequently facing the need to run in them. When I finally got to watch SATC it was like looking in the mirror, lol

Am I the only one Who sees the dog as some sort of métaphore representing her relationship with aidan ? Like she's the red fancy heels type Who tries to Adapt to the girl next lifestyle by walking the dog but it just runs away and she desperately tries to catch up to it even though it seems so out of character with the way she dresses aka the way she is. Like no matter how much she tries aidan was just not for her and she was not for him or something ....probably just overthinking this.

Now that I am older and a dog owner myself, the scenes with Carrie and Pete give me so much anxiety! It is so dangerous that she lets go of the leash in a town full of such busy streets!! Also, how she handles him on the leash is just careless/neglectful and borderline cruel.

I get mad too but I get her. I have had a big in my life too. The one who could not commit but always wanted to be around. We did break off completely after he got married though. He did try to get back 3 months after his marriage but I shut him off completely. It just felt good though that he wanted me back and understood he screwed up. I blocked him after that. Recently his dad died so sent him condolences. He started chatting a lot and speaking like an idiot too which is when I realised I never saw that. I have an amazing husband now.
