In a world so obsessed with inclusion and “tolerance” why does everyone hate “a way of” love ?

The Big in my life keeps breaking my heart and the Carrie in my keeps letting him. I broke up with him and 1 month later he went back to his ex that he’s been cheating on me with through out our relationship. Yes I “dodged a bullet” you can say so why does it still hurt so bad.

Slightly different take on them: I think he's just as hung up on her as she is him and is afraid of being vulnerable with someone so emotionally demanding and volatile. She's always the one to end it but he's always game to start up again (I cannot believe the sex was so good it would be worth dealing with her batshit drama.) Natasha seems like she was an impulsive rebound in an attempt to get over Carrie-evidenced by the fact that within months of his marriage he's actively seeking Carrie out (desperate and needy on her level) and once they're having an affair he's more invested in ending their respective other relationships than she is.

Have to hand it to Big or the Writers here: Big ends up with Carrie, I think VERY much for the reason that he laughed the most and could be himself with her. He WANTED the Natasha-young-Model-Simple-Controlled-Life.. but he Needed someone at his level (whatever that is for those two) -- and that was Carrie. [as a side note, too bad for... the REAL Carrie Bradshaw, Candace Bushnell.. that didn't happen].

CARRIE IS ANNOYING, BORING BORING, UNATTRACTIVE THE TYPE OF WOMAN WITH LOW ESTEEM WHO TALKS FROM HER ELBOWS, DON'T SEE THE SIGNS LISTENS VERY LITTLE AND THAT MEN HATES TO HAVE AROUND!!!

I've never watched full episodes of Sex and the City. Here in India it wasn't a household name when it aired. Now we're watching clips on KZfaq. So whatever I've seen of Big it's very clear he's charming and likable. A very nice boyfriend actually but commitment phobic perhaps. Love is scary to some people. Big can make a really exciting companion! Any girl would want him. ❤

Carrie loves Big. She is a emotional junky and definitely irrational. I don’t think she purposely choose Big for his wallet nor his maturity. My mom use to say that those kind of girls are happy to beg and live under a bridge if they are next to their life love. A lot of women will judge her as we don’t share the same logic…including me.

I told that to a guy once. "Don't move to the city for me. Do it because you wanted anyway and don't expect anything." if the relationship was gone wrong i didn't want to hear any complaining about leaving his city and all these kind of stuff.

Big married Natasha to do the "right thing", but the banter he has with Carrie cannot be replaced. The thing is that he did not dare to choose her so she should have looked for banter elsewhere instead of settling for Aiden and other kind but unsuitable partners not up to her.
@francinariske98963 ай бұрын
So she takes the grown up approach, and he puts a fart cushion on her seat, and then laughs at his own juvenile prank, lesson in what we as women should expect from a grown man.
