I LOVE how size inclusive Old Navy is for pretty much everyone. I can buy clothes for my whole family, from 6'9" men to babies to maternity to plus size to husky kids to scrawny kids. Age and stage inclusive too. So good.

I hope since the vlog this gallbladder thing is getting fixed, I had so much pain with cramps with it for 5 years to the point where I wasn’t able to eat anything apart of protein powder. They didn’t saw it as urgent and as bad as I felt…When I finally got a surgeon who believed the pains are super bad, he looked into my stomach during the surgery he said it was completely dead organ and he basically saved my life. Wish you good luck 🤞🏻

Make sure you ADVOCATE for yourself throughout this process!!! The gastro kept telling me my issues were food related and finally after I think essentially annoying her she ordered a colonoscopy.... turns out I have an IBD :)

Hi Carrie, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your medical experiences. I’ve had stomach issues my whole life too. It’s really messed with my orthorexia to try and balance what I need to do to feel like I can go outside my house without needing a bathroom without making me feel like I’m choosing all the wrong things to eat. Just trying to be kind as possible to myself and you inspire me a lot to be kinder to myself

my mom struggled with gallbladder problems for a long time and got brushed off by doctors for a while, I really hope you get some answers soon regardless of what it is! wouldn't wish that kind of pain on anybody

I had my gallbladder removed when I was 22 or 23! The doctors didn't take me seriously... they told me that "only overweight Indigenous women over 40" had gallbladder issues... after 3 months of emergency room visits they finally booked me an appointment to have it removed!!!!! Since surgery I've heard of countless women who've gone through the exact same issue!!! So ridiculous! I hope you get the help you deserve!

So glad to hear from you I was getting worried and thought you wasn’t coming back. I have followed you for a long time and I have enjoyed. You are real and that is what I like. There are lots of things you do on your blog you probably don’t realize people see like pictures you buy and where and how you hang them I feel like you are a honest person and true to yourself and that is the way you should be. I know it would be hard sometimes when people say mean things and depending how your day is going it can affect you different. You keep doing what you want and don’t think about them you have more people liking you then the haters. I am a lot older then you but at 35 just show your smiling face and tells whatever and we (your followers) will be there.❤️😊

As someone with IBS, GERD, Silent Reflux, Functional Dyspepsia and Dysphagia I can relate to stomach issues/problems. Hoping you find answers on what is causing your stomach issues. I had 3 endoscopy and 2 colonoscopy in the past years and I know these test are not fun but so helpfull for a diagnosis.

Im so glad you’re being tested for SIBO! I had a pretty severe case a couple years back. It got the point where eating ANYTHING sent me to the bathroom with extreme gas pain. It’s also very common with endo. (not that you’ve been diagnosed, just saying) The gut pain feels just as bad as period cramps. Celiac might be another issue. Hoping you get some answers soon! ❤

I was diagnosed with SIBO in November and I took some antibiotics for it and then it came back in February. And then I found out the new round of antibiotics i needed were going to be more than $1000. If you run into something like this, my doctor was able to get a free two week supply of the antibiotics from the drug representative for me. Literally life saving

I have to say this to save you time. I’m so convinced you have gastritis. I’m willing to bet on it. Same thing happened to me. So painful. Worst pain I’ve ever felt in my entire life and I’ve had serious surgeries and a baby. Gastritis was the worst. Anything I ate or drank…30 mins later I was in shivering pain and vomiting. My doctor was an asshole BUT gave me a quick diagnosis with no testing. He told me just take a Pepsid AC pill before I ate. I thought surely that can’t be it. I was convinced it was my gallbladder. Went home. Popped a pill. Ate a pizza. Never felt that pain again. Please don’t take this the wrong way. I was just living alone during covid when this happened to me and it was so scary to think I was so sick. But it truly can just be a simple case of too much red wine one night that throws the acidity off in your stomach. But boy does it hurt.

After having my 1st daughter, I started having what I now know were terrible gallbladder attacks. I ended up in the ER a couple times for the pain and was brushed off and told it was just acid reflux and to take Pepcid. It was the worst pain I have ever experienced and very scary. My symptoms were exactly as you described were your experience recently. I finally got a abdomen ultrasound that revealed gallstones and inflamed pancreas. My liver enzymes were extremely elevated on blood work as well. I was in surgery within a couple weeks. Keep pushing for answers.

Uggh im sorry Carrie. I was just diagnosed with Celiacs in Feb after being told the issue could be gerds, ibs, stress and anxiety, woman issues 🙄 acid, bowel issues.... I hope they figure out what is going on very soon. Its awful to feel bad and not have drs take you seriously

After years & years of ibs and tough periods (yup I'm fat 😂) I was about to have a hysterectomy and discovered in addition to gyn & gi pain i was so used to, i also had a big (2cm) kidney stone. I had no idea because it was so similar to the pain I was used to dealing with. Because we women are told to just deal with it and poo-pooed so much if we complain that we stop bothering. Hope you find relief soon! Also seeing your banana bread made me think banana bread French toast would be amazing! Must try...

I have a long history of stomach issues, including diagnosed Ibs and anxiety, as well as chronic unexplained nausea and chronic acid reflux. One thing is to be careful with long term omeprazole, it can be detrimental to calcium absorption in women (I was on it 15 years before any provider commented about itand was like "oh no"😅). It can be hard getting any diagnoses as a women, but I feel your pain and cant wait to hear about your journey

Fellow stomach issues queen! Had a lot of stomach issues (IBS D, gallstones, acid reflux, etc). Had a ton of tests (colonoscopy, capsule study, several mri) and they never could quite figure out what was going on. Ended up in er where they found my gallbladder full of stones. Got my gallbladder taken out a year ago and I’m doing so much better! Don’t give up, it took 4 years for me to get myself figured out.

I was diagnosed with SIBO about a month ago and just finished my antibiotics for it! It was BRUTAL but feeling better! I hope you feel better soon too!!

I have very similar symptoms as you described in your video a while back. My doctors IMMEDIATELY assumed gallbladder, but all of my test have come back normal. They still don’t know what’s wrong 🙃 I hope that you’re able to figure it out because stomach stuff is the worst!

Carrie stomach issues which don’t always show up are celiac disease my mother in law started with ibs, then had digestion problems and so on 7 years of pain . Got a laparoscopy procedure done after being misdiagnosed a million times and found out she has celiac disease . Gluten was making her sick . I hated seeing her go through this . I also have been misdiagnosed a million times with cyst and doctors saying I have PCos which I don’t . Make sure u see more than one doctor . When I had gallbadder problems, they found it in the ultra sound. I was in continuous pain & after the gallbladder surgery , no more stomache pain! Anyway, I hope they find out what's wrong with you really soon, so you can get the problem fixed

I had a similar event years ago. I thought it was my gallbladder and the Drs weren’t sure. Turned out my gallbladder was fine and they diagnosed me with esophageal spasms. I’ve been fine ever since.

I hate wearing bras too! I just discovered this brand called the Klassy Network that sells brami tops which are super cute and have built in bras! I got one and I loved it so much I ordered another one in a different color. I will say they run a tad bit snug so maybe size up but they're very size inclusive and adorable!

I wish Old Navy would bring back their basic 100% cotton pajama pants that they always had in 90 different prints for 20+ years. They were the best and sooo comfortable! I just need 100% cotton. 😢

Yeah they kept my gallbladder in too long I was in and out ER 15 times in almost six months and I developed pancreatitis and it became an emergency. Turns out I had over 60 small gallstones. It led to damage to my stomach and liver from things backing up and been six years of heck since. Gallbladder surgery is so routine so if that’s the issue get it out asap before you deal with unnecessary aftermath of health issues like I and so many others face. Sucks.

I don’t know where you are at with your gynecological exploration (that’s what she said), but I recently/finally was diagnosed with endometriosis, and I believe that has been the cause of all of my gastro issues, not the IBS that I was diagnosed with in my 20s. They basically found that my uterus and my bowel are ridiculously fused together, and one has very much to do with the other.

I truly feel like we’re soul sisters and I mean that in the least creepy way possible haha ❤

you have the seat belt in the lower position, raise it up, the closer the neck it sits the safer it is, if you have it too low then the risk is that it slides off your shoulder during an accident, and then it can hurt you instead

sounds so similar to my experience! i’m currently on the highest dose of omeprazole for the foreseeable future. sibo test came back negative, endoscopy & colonoscopy showed not much irregularities but they agree something is def wrong lol. hopefully you have more of a resolution!

Would highly suggest a second opinion! Go with your gut if you feel the answers you get aren't right! I had my gallbladder removed after years of problems.

For some reason gallbladder issues seem to get ignored or dismissed by doctors often. I’ve heard horror stories of people waiting 10 years for that diagnosis. It’s strange to me because my gallbladder issues went from 0 to 100 in a matter of 12 hours and I had emergency surgery to remove it (not typical so don’t freak out, like I would).

IBS and other stomach problems are also highly associated with ADHD! I don’t think the connection between them is clear, but the incidence of IBS in people with ADHD is much higher than in people without it
