My third graders loved it! We chose to use several of the animated moments to reinforce inferencing. Laughter AND learning? A beautiful combination!

I was actually expecting something like that, the more they escalated the carrot war. In fact, when he dropped the huge carrot from the helicopter, I figured it would probably land on the bunny and squash him. But the hawk was a much better way to end it -- much less predictable. 8-)
