Ever wondered how to add carrots to the soap?
Well, I brought this easy soap-making tutorial for you. This step-by-step video will show you how. Not just carrots, you can use this method to add any milk to your soap also such as- the famous Goat milk soap.
I freeze the carrot puree during this cold process soap-making process so it does not burn while mixing with lye. That way carrots still contain the nutrition.
Same way, if you want to add milk to the soap, freeze it first and then mix it with the lye.

What is the shelf life of this soap?

Shelf life depends on the type of oils/butters you use. Also, many other factors like superfat, how you store it, etc.

I can't provide actual recipe for this soap. It is a custom recipe for a client. I have other videos with free soap recipes.

Are there any benefits to the carrot in the soap or is it purely aesthetic?

Sugar in carrot increases bubbles in soap! Other than that, it is mostly aesthetic.

Actually it’s beneficial for the skin. I have used it myself and can tell you my skin cleared up. Carrots have retinol which is good for reversing aging.

@mia1libra I have a client who buys a full loaf of carrot soap from me on repeat. She believes it keeps her skin really good. Soapmakers can't claim any benefits of soap on the skin. That brings it under FDA regulations, so I will keep my mouth shut! 🤐 😄 Thanks for your comment, though! It's really helpful 🙂
