You can also attack and even shoot out of the car when you roll down the window, be careful though as zombies can also reach in and attack you. So if you are rolling down (Funny how we still say roll down the window, even though that is a rare thing nowadays) to manage temperature maybe roll down a non driver side window, don't worry about it zombies can't jump into the window and attack you, they can only attack you from the window if you are sitting in that seat.

You can also attach trailers for extra space, siphon gas from other cars, play CDs via the radio, and hit shift on your keyboard to set cruise control speed, if you find a car in the driveway of a house the keys will likely be on a zombie nearby or in the house itself. There are often Jerry cans, and other car-related stuff stored in the trunk as well as in the glove compartment, you can inflate or deflate your tires which will help you over rugged terrain. You can also shoot from vehicles if the window is down and you have a gun. If you need to clear zombies using your car drive in reverse in circles your car will sustain less damage. You are welcome!

Latest build (just started) will let you choose Burglar and you can drive cars with an implied hotwire enabled. Solo mode. So if you are starting out, choose Burglar and get a feel for vehicles early. Need a skill level in Electronics and 2 in Mechanic to hotwire without Burglar.

Can we just talk about how running engines attract the sh*t out of zombies and it's as if you can sentence your base to a place of no return if you drive home and park it in the frontyard? I'm totally not speaking from experience lmao that whole district of town got overran by a horde just cuz of that one fucking car I parked there.

My first ever PZ run I just hopped in an RV, found the key apparently... And I was trying to figure how in the heck I can put the damn key into the slot. I had like a ton of zombies comin at me I been running from for a while, and I kept messing with the mouse buttons and never figured how to start the damn engine. Maybe the thing just didn't have fuel? I sure as heck didn't get to figure. Zombies broke the window, injured me, and I just ran out. Needless to say I was such a noob that I was unable to get out of the situation any way. Then my game fricken crashed lmao

Hello in my 9 try ı found a really good loking sport car it have 2 seats anyway i didnt find the key ı broke the window clear the remaing glass pieces enter car and hotwiring it at least 25 or 26 ı managed to success but now its not starting dou know is hotwiring kills the battery

How would you deal with the noise cars make? That’s my biggest gripe about using cars, is that they always attract a horde of zombies to me every time I drive in the game.

What killed me was: running with a gas canister emptys it.. not sure if it only does if u have in hand or normal inv or backbag but i went on a gas run on cars and went back to the police car that was 9/10 repaired spawned and just to find out my canister was empty again... XD

I full my car with a bunch of stuff and now the doors are stuck or something what can i do i can't drive it and get in it anymore. Do you have an idea and thx..
