If you're a biology major and want some advice, this video is for you.
This video provides biology major advice and other information for biology majors. I've been teaching and advising students for over 15 years and have a position as a formal academic advisor at California State University (they bear no responsibility for anything stated in this video). I've seen what helps biology students succeed so they can accomplish their personal and professional goals.
If you're thinking about medical school, graduate school, or anything else this video can provide some useful information.
This video answers the question: how do I succeed as a biology major?

I'm not even a biology major but I've been thinking of going into a biology lab assistant apprenticeship, after which the natural next step could be a biology major. It'd be 3 and a half years from now but I find that it's still nice to be informed with what your options are, so thank you for this super well structured video. Choosing where I wanna be is just incredibly difficult, and biology is only one of the things I'm interested in, but there is a decent chance that I may go down this route. Funnily enough the other ones I've been thinking about have nothing to do with science, being clockmaker and audiovisual media designer with a focus on film and tv

Biology degrees and also any job you get will pay you whatever you want. It just takes time and experience and the guts to tell people what you deserve. Also with more money comes more responsibility, but you get paid for the work you produce. Take pride in your work and have some self respect. Biology degrees are definitely worth it and if you look into getting your MLT or CLS it will pay upwards of 80-130k and you don’t need a grad MS degree just a bachelors and the MLT or CLS license

This is a wonderful video, and super helpful for someone who is going to be going into a biology major soon, but my only complaint is the music, it was so loud that at times it was hard to hear your points. Other than that, thank you so much for the great video!

Glad you liked the video. As for the music, unfortunately KZfaq does an auto-adjust which can sometimes raise the background volume even when you make a video with soft background music.
