$7,000 - $10,000 for a simple gold bracelet is insanely expensive. A good bulk of that cost is likely because of the Cartier brand name. Gold is gold in my experience, no matter where you get it from. A comparatively similar gold bracelet from anywhere else would have cost you thousands less. But ultimately it's what makes you happy. I myself couldn't stomach spending that much for a bracelet in this current economy.

the price of the 18k gold for the weight of the bracelet(about 32grams) is around $1500usd......So, yes there is quite a bit of markup for the Cartier name.

Because its reallllly expensive and the small one is very small. I get a lot of real gold for this Price too. I Wear it with Fear, i don’t want scratches:-( if i anyone Purchase this, its not good. I think you cannot beat the classic Love bracelet, I'm saving for one at the moment! My Cartier pieces are my favourite to wear too, so the last one on my list is the Love. The only thing is I have to get a size that fits looser than yours (18) because my wrist bone really sticks out and the bracelet is supposed to be able to go over the bone, whereas the size that fits my actual wrist best is 17. Apparently if you get a size that doesn't got over the wrist bone it can be painful to wear. PS agreed with you on the under the radar aspect. That is so massively overstated on social media, 'everyone' does not own Chanel classic flaps, Birkin/Kellys and Cartier & VCA, even in wealthy areas of big cities like London and NYC. It is only 'everyone' on my insta feed, because the algorithm shows me what I engage with.

Good to know! Once upon a time, I bought a Kate Spade bracelet similar to the love bracelet... I could barely wear it for an hour due to it rubbing against my wrist bone now I realize it was not my perfect fit( one size fits all). Now I feel more confident purchasing my first Cartier next year. Thanks again! :)

I hear ya on sleeping with rings and earrings!! I take them off. I don’t own the Love bracelet but it’s a classic for sure. I have a Ballon and a Panthere watch from Cartier and 2 yrs ago I added the JUC bracelet. I have to admit that where I live I see these bracelet a whole lot, it’s pretty common. But when I go visit my family in Canada, I see absolutely none. So it remembers me to just get what I love and to not care if it’s popular or not in my little bubble!

One of my dreams to have it! I would like gold but I got my colours done and apparently rose gold is most complimentary to me! So I'd get that. I was told to avoid yellow gold dang it! Yes, I will get one in Rose Gold at some stage! I love it Monika! You look awesome with it ❤🇦🇺🦘

Buy what you like and don’t let people influence you. If you like yellow gold go for it and wear it proudly, the pink gold turns yellowish anyway.

It's beautiful and suits you very well. I too scoff at the idea that it's "very common", like the VCA 5 motifs "everybody has it"... Um, not where I live. Nobody really knows what it is and I can wear my 5 motifs to work, no pb. It would be the same with the Love I'm sure. I want one as well, but the Cuff though, as I couldn't bear to never take it off.

I live in NYC and it's not that common here either. You see it more in certain areas (5th Ave/Madison Ave shopping) but in my daily life I don't see it much. A woman here or there but not common at all. I have two Cartier Love cuffs (both with one diamond, but one in YG and one in WG), which I prefer as I have to take off jewelry each night. I have several bracelets from Cartier and they are all worth it to me (Loves, JUCs, Clash, Etincelle) and are my most beloved pieces as I wear them daily.

Your video is quite informative and wonderful. I am looking at the love bracelet and I am torn between the 16 and 17. The salesman said it should not be able to turn on my wrist being oval shaped. How does yours feel? How much does yours move around and did the salesperson make any recommendations? I am 135lbs. Quite small. Larger hands with long fingers but a small wrist. What is your wrist measurement? It would be so much easier to make this choice with knowing someone’s experience before making the investment. Thank you!! ❤

Thank you for watching. On me the 16 was so small it literally would not move up and down my wrist at all. It was stuck. 17 is much better, it's looser and comfortable. I can't turn my wrist around when I'm wearing it which is great because the bottom part gets more scratched so I want it to be facing down. I would say go for the one that feels more comfortable. Also remember that your wrist will swell a bit when it's hot so it better to go with a bit looser size.

Thank you! I tried the 17 again recently for the movement but I found when sliding down my arm, apparently my wrist AND arm is small. Lol . When I turned my arm, it would get stuck since it’s oval shaped. I think the 16 is best but when I saw it, felt like it would look like I was wearing a child size. lol. I am going to try the 16 again after have tried the 17 on my friend has. Thank you again! You’re beautiful.

Surprised that with all the trouble since 2016, they can’t fix a $7500-13,000 bracelet. Garbage customer service by Cartier and their prices far exceed their ongoing QC issues. I’m not sure where this video was going when you were talking about yourself and comparing it to others but at the end of the day, what’s important is the quality of the bracelet for the price. If you look at all the videos online it seems like there is a chronic problem with one of their signature pieces.they need to fix the mechanism or they need to redo the bracelet locks entirely.
