I got it. Hands-down one of the most wholesome experiences I've ever had. 11/10 would recommend.

Looks cute, but oh my god the implications of this little girl playing with a map potentially uprooting and disturbing the lives of thousands of villagers is hilariously terrible

I bought this on release day. I'm glad to see someone else was completely stumped by that monolith puzzle lol. I enjoyed the game, loved the art and puzzles, but I felt like talking to people wasn't as interesting as it could have been.

It's on X-box gamepass. Honestly a very pleasant little puzzler. Something you play to chill from a more violent game.

Since it was on Game Pass, I gave it a try. Finished it in two sittings. Will probably go back to complete the achievements.

This looks lovely. Might be especially good on the Switch for when you need to isolate from reality by hiding in a cupboard.

As a cartographer - I worked for a particular British navy-and-magenta company for 4 years, editing the 1:10,000 scale - I loved this game. I had endless fun fiddling around with the map pieces and putting them together in different ways - to the point, that at the last puzzle where you're supposed to fit all the map tiles of each level together - I had already completed it. Whoops. I only wish you could go back to a level after you'd left it, but it makes sense with the narrative.

Loved this game its just very special to me. And i dont feel that much with games anymore but this one made me cry when i finished it knowing i could only enjoy it this much once and every other playthrough would be less fun which is why i only played it once. A hidden gem.

Its been awhile since i played a unique games such as this one. I really enjoyed carto's story and there were times when the game warmed my heart. I wonder if there are any of games similar in concept to this one. Stranded Sails is the only thing that comes to mind.

Its a cute game, but you do get stuck after a while if you dont know where to look for the next map piece.

Carto doesn't have a companion because she isn't a messenger. After all, she doesn't have a beard.

In the ending sequence, you can see that she gets a puppy. Maybe you didn't watch until after the credits?
