Regarding language: we say that the gems developed english. But anyone watching a translated version of the show would say that the gems invented French or Japanese, or whatever they spoke. Considering the highly idiosyncratic nature of English (and the fact that it lacks the coherence and structure which I would imagine that the gems would have), I suggest that Steven and the people of Beach city speak the Gem Language, and we just have the benefit of watching an english translation thereof.

*THEORY TIME* I think Steven may corrupt himself and White Diamond. The two go hand in hand. The reason I am assuming this is because in the intro, White Diamond is kind of pink. Like Pink Diamond pink. I also heard the leaked audio so that will play a part in this theory too. In the audio it says Steven crashed his dad's van with Greg inside. Most likely he has a pink outburst or he simply is just not focusing on the road because maybe his dad is trying to see how he is feeling. Most likely if this is the case, the Crystal Gems put Greg up to it because they have noticed Steven has been acting out and strange. Steven is then shaken up after the event. This is where the confrontation of the Crystal Gems comes in. In the audio leak, they are fighting. Steven starts to lose control over his powers and they start activating by his emotions. We know this because he accidentally puts up a wall between him and Pearl. So they all get in a fight, and towards the end of the audio Steven yells at them to leave him alone. Usually after him yelling like this, Pink Steven comes out. Something happens and he hurts or damages the Crystal Gems. Next I assume he uses the teleport to home world to go talk to the Diamonds. He probably just needs to get more information on what's happening or is going to try to hide from his mistake. However, since they have Spinel, the Diamonds won't need Steven. They will probably brush him off and ignore him. Him feeling like there is absolutely no one left around causes another Pink outburst in front of the Diamonds. One of the Diamonds (most likely White for this theory) probably handles it like how they did with Pink. They probably yell at him and this causes Steven to get even angrier. Maybe to the point where he starts putting off a Pink aura but instead of relaxing and making everyone happy, it makes them all angry. Steven accidentally fuses with White Diamond while like this causing her to turn Pink. Also the reason why I think they fuse is because in the intro her hands are on her head the way Steven and his mom put their hands on their heads when angry or upset. They quickly unfuse however and Steven starts to slowly corrupt. (This fusion is less likely to happen) I got this idea from talking with Harley quin 1345. She said that wormy bois eyes are glowing in the intro so maybe he is controlling White. I then brought up that this was a really good idea because each Diamond has there own way to control Gems, White can take over a Gems mind, Blue makes Gems cry when she’s sad, Yellow is very persuasive, and Pink could calm people. What if she actually couldn’t calm people but make them feel a certain emotion? So since Stevens stressed he can make all the Diamonds stressed and angry. Harley quin 1345 mentioned that maybe White actually fires her corruption beam while upset and it hits Steven, corrupting him. (This end part is apart of the original version of this comment) Since he is part human he will probably corrupt slower. He probably has enough time to go back home and try to hide what's going on causing him to fully corrupt in the wormy boi. I think Spinel and or Connie are gonna have to talk him down. We will just have to wait another 2 years to see... only joking! The episodes take time to make and I will be patient for all the time they need :)

Im pretty sure the blast did not bounce off the sheild .But it only corrupted because Pink was not part of the attack

Just so everyone knows, the corruption blast was unintentional effect of the Diamonds using their life wiping blast without Pink. This is why they thought all the gems on Earth were dead.

Actually, the corruption blast bouncing off around the bubble would radiate him even more, amplifying the effect like a nuclear reactor

Actually, I believe that the reason why they are able to speech English is because whatever the gems speak are translated in a persons native tongue. And whatever the person speaks is translated to gem

Before I watched the video I thought of a theory: What if spinel hit steven and his power disabled so that the corruption can progress in his gem and then he gets his powers back not knowing that sooner or later, he will get corrupted.

I don’t think Steven will be corrupted. Maybe White Diamond would become off-color like in Change Your Mind. The wormy boi could be a different gem that got corrupted and nobody except for White knew. Just a theory

Okay so people have probably already come up with this before but, what if White Diamond was acting the entire time after episode: Change. Viewers can clearly see that White Diamond is trying really hard not to 'burst' and kill everyone in sight. Not to mention we can clearly see her as a villain in the intro for Steven Universe Future. She then manipulates Steven, who is already randomly turning into 'Pink Steven' into becoming the wormy thing resulting in the SERIES finale being almost all the crystal gems vs Worm Steven and Spinel (who would also be manipulated) and White diamond? Like that would be epic.

In the new the ending of the Steven Universe white diamond might be a villain but I think that's the cluster you know the Giant monster made of all gems salt trying to find the missing pieces that one that fights the yellow. Chip the giant Yellow hand in the blue one that cluster I think that's the cluster white diamond the one that's pink and because I see a different other colors on it

What if instead of white diamond just getting mad and turning into the off color version of her, what if it’s actually the evil version of spinel and white diamond fusing? I mean I didn’t see every episode so idk if spinel and a diamond could fuse, but this is just a theory of mine.
