Update: Some people wanted a full song version of this. Okay. I didn't do it but KZfaq user Natnew32 made a 30 minute version of it. Enjoy.

A couple of friends and I decided to whip out an out Nintendo 64 and go cartridge tilting on several games. there was about 45 minutes of footage and I cut down to this since the rest was either not worth showing or nothing happened we tried multiple games but the only one that really had anything worth showing was Paper Mario for the screens of death and crazy sounding music. As a bonus I decided to add one from Mario Kart 64 for the hell of it but it more of an inside joke. Either way I hope you enjoy what you watched and hopefully I can make a better quality video some time soon. either that or a new animation at least.
As a warning: I would not recommend cartridge tilting since it can mess up your game or system. we just decided to do this because we were bored and had time on our hands.

According to The Easter Egg Hunter, that white dot with the red border at the end is a crash indicator. If you enter in a special button combination, you will bring up a debugger.

Jesus Javier It depends on how the developers suspect how often the game will crash due to how many quirks there will be in the coding. If the coding is very sloppy or something like that, they will make the debugger display instantly right after the game has crashed. If the code is very stable and solid, they will restrict the debugger with a button combination and, also, that after the game has crashed, they may give a hint that the game has crashed and the debugger is ready (like that dot you saw at the end of the vid), or also remove the debugger completely (or possibly just dummy it out). This is partly a theory though, but a very good one it seems to me.

ah yes, the most common crashes of all. Basically, it can mean one of two things: Cannot load something e.g. an image not within N64 colour limitations Tried to load something that doesn't exist

With the music? If not, it's really nothing to worry about, you can easily crash this game. And that screen is just the crash handler/debugger used by the devs of the game to find causes of the game crashing in order to fix them. If it was with the music, no clue how that could happen through normal means.

Yeah I used an actual n64. the capture card allows me to record from basically any console given the right components.

I don't have a Super Nintendo Entertainment System so I can't really try it on Super Mario World or any game from that. I can try on the Sega Genesis and the Nintendo 64 though so I might try that out on some more games.
