When you talked about the November 2000 issue of Club Nintendo i went to my collection of magazines and i actually own this one, its so cool that Mexican players discover one of the most well known and iconic SM64 tricks ever

As a kid, I practiced the BLJ glitch as hard as I could after first seeing it online. Mastering it is extremely satisfying.

Extremely high quality for such a small channel! Half the creators with millions of subs probably don’t spend as much time on videos as you looking at the quality of this masterpiece, I loved every bit of this! I’m excited to see what’s next. Also there was a lot of new information that I never knew so that was cool too.

Some scans of the December '96 Japanese "Super Mario 64 Complete Clear Guide Book" came out today, and you can see on page 135 a clear documentation of the use of the BLJ to skip the endless staircase! I know the internet wasn't widespread back then but its amazing how long this trick flew under the consciousness of (particularly) westerners given how long it was known about, given its usefulness and eventual infamy.

I love how J talks about the BLJ like a super saiyan transformation. A Technique one person used only talked of before in some sort of informational story or scripture, and others followed after them to discover the technique, but few could master the technique and even expand on it.
