Jordy, I've paused 10 minutes in to say, I always aim to make my carvings look like fantasy. I want my carvings to look like they come out of the kind of childrens book I read as a child, full of impossible creatures and incredible landscapes. I'm only a begginer hobbyist, but when I see people look at my work and smile, I know I've done a great job even if it's not technically great. Your work inspires me to keep on carving. 😀

Jordy good luck on those bacon cuts😜 try to put a lot of Japanese bend in those roof tops that’s the best look. Can a side balcony look for plants to be work with like railing? 😮 Big overhang by the fascia area and a leaning tower of piazza bend- twist for a fantasy look? 🤪

I like the dlowers in your tree spirit planter.👍 Also, thanks for showing us how you cut in the roof. That's going to look crazy cool with your copper shingles decking it out. I think a topper would be a cool addition too. Fun to watch you carve the start of it, and looking forward to your future vids on it. If you take the photos and draw out your designs, like you were talking about, it would be great to see that stuff in the vids too. I'm interested in the programs you use to do that and how you go about it. Sounds like it would be a very helpful thing to learn and use for planning out carvings.😊💯

I'm about to attempt this roof on a seven ft log that I acquired. It's a lot more confusing than it looks in the video and it'll be a miracle if I don't screw it up. My neighbors will be the first to know if I do and I hope they are wearing earplugs today.😂
