I found the right chain for my dime carving bar, we have Ali Express for less than $7 😯 instead of $200 (cost, taxes and shipping costs) for a recognized brand! Later, I found the complete kit (chain and bar) for less than $40. To have known before I would not have paid $200 only for the bar! But when you don't know too much... 😬

Hello Jordy. Grand! Grand! Great job on going 3D. I'm also guilty of forgetting scale and having to adjust, so, I know how you feel. But the Wizard looks perfect! My idea for lower portion is this... You know how the theater crystal balls will have a claw coming from the bottom that looks like an animal claw is holding the ball? How about carving a set of claw/ fingers coming from the bottom of the log as if it is holding Wizard's head? Not sure if you have the room or if it would look like a Pez dispenser when you're done, (because it's a cylinder and not a ball) but it's what first came to mind. If not, then some cool swoosh lines would look great too. Thanks for sharing. To be honest I didn't watch the whole video, but I did listen (the whole time) while working; so, length didn't bother me.

I use a China Pencil for outlines and mark ups. Never had much luck out of sharpies on logs.

It would be cool to hollow it out and do a old light hanging in middle under the wizard and some shit on sides of hole where light is. I don’t know you know I don’t know lol
