Just 7-10 years ago $250,000 supercars can do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, now we’re seeing $70,000 wagons do it in 3.4. That’s just impressive if I’m honest.

@@sandijs3108 I live in Poland where often is -20 C/ -4 F. People with rwd are happy when it snows. After turning off dsc on roads without traffic or another good place there are a lot of fun snow drifting. After that you have still good tires. If dsc works and you don't try to slide with full throtle (and even with that it is hard to drift) it isn't much worse that fwd. With normall tires it's ok. Only reason when 4x4 is needed is when someone live in mountains or have long distance to home from main road.

I don’t know if you noticed but the m3 actually launches in second gear. That’s probably the reason why the power is so controllable when you launch it.

BMW knew most people will be so disappointed and they try to make most options easy like adaptive suspension as standard or nice ambiance color seat or bring back manual gearbox or doing a touring version and this kind of options couldn’t be free as standard if nobody criticized the style of new M3 and M4

Ehh love them is quite strong. The interior is wonderful and is a facelift on the f80 driving wise, so there will hardly be any hate, just 'mehh it's good'. They will still sell them, but given how good the m340i looks, there was no need to fvk up the front so much & instead it would just be a beautiful wonderful driving car instead of a ugly wonderful driving car.

@@AutoAbsolute Its a pretty big deal, its one reason why my family bought the volvo xc60 and not the xc40, just because in the xc40 there is no upgraded sound system and the sound is terrible.

My E90 used to light up the tires when I launched. Then I got the GTS flash. Launch drops from 5500rpm to 3500rpm and you can use the cruise control stalk to decrease the RPMs further.

you never owned either of them than, had an M3, driving was sensational but it broke down constantly, switched it for a camaro ZL1, best decision of my life.

A car that when you turn gives you confidence to push it even more, a car that genuinely don’t want to sell for a long time or at all. If you understand that your not one of us car guys simple. Come on people, admit it. Despite “that face”, we are loving the new M3 more and more, I certainly am! When Mercedes launch the new C63 next year, can’t wait to see it go head-to-head with the Munich beast! Once we have estate/wagon versions of all of them, we need to do this again, the ultimate German Uber-wagon group test! I was previously leaning towards RS4, but the new M3 is in my eyes, a strong contender for top of the class!

@@saidalas7763 I’m from Singapore, but remember I said “contender for top of the class”. The Giulia QV is still my all-time favourite car, but the new G80 M3 in my opinion, puts up a very strong fight against the Italian in this class of car. In terms of desirability and a car you buy with your heart alone, the Alfa Romeo wins, but as a luxury performance daily driver, the M3 edges ahead. At the end of the day, that’s what It’s all about isn’t it?

Having different sized front and rear wheels was always a real ballache at trackdays. You’d be bound to have heavier wear on one tyre over the others but now you need to take two spares with you. That problem went away when I started taking a full set of AO48s but still...

At first when they revealed that m3 with those grills, I thought that it looked very bad, but some time has passed and i really like it. It looks agressive, uniq and when you see it you immediately realise that this is a BMW and not mistaken for another brand because for nowadays desings are quite similar. I wouldn't be embarresed to own one if i could.

My thoughts exactly, the design was distasteful at first but its grows on you and it increases it aggressive appeal. I think many people are still stuck on the "its hideous" train because youtube creators are swaying their opinion. And for sure, its bold look makes the RS4 look somewhat lame and boring in comparison.
