One note on solo play: one of the things that I love about Flatout Games is that in addition to basic beat-your-own-score gameplay, they almost always add scenarios to their games, which appears to be the case for this one as well. So you're not simply trying to get a high score, you're also trying to hit specific objectives in order to win, which adds a lot of variety and forces you to adjust your strategies each game. Never played Cascadia but I do like Roll/Flip & Writes. I'll keep and Eye on this. Look like this and En Route might be up my alley. Thanks for what you do.

Would using cubes or animal meeples to track resources work?
