I’ve finally understood my bad posture, constant tension and inability to speak clearly… I’ve been doing the postural restoration exercices for months now with some improvements, but I’ve suspected for a while that my teeth were a big part of the problem. My lower teeth are occluded and I have always felt like there’s not enough space for my tongue. The wide mouth test showed a Grade 4 tongue tie. Thank you for this video Conor! Very eye-opening and clear. Time to look for solutions. THANK YOU.

It's remarkable how similar the "AIA" Sidelying here is to the "PRI" Right Sidelying Left Adductor Pull Back with Knee to Knee that was prescribed to me. I don't know why there has to be camps or branding. These very same outfits state there's such a need for collaboration, yet they're siloed themselves. Anyways, I can't state enough still I'm grateful the for AIA presentation. This woman and I have have the same pattern across the board in all "3 diaphragms" with same chief complaint on right leg/ side. I had my tongue tie release done a year ago. I'm going to try this AIA Sidelying version. Here's to the future of all integration.

I encourage people to look into myofunctional therapy also for those kind of issues - along with appliances ofc. People should visit biological dentists - basically dentists that have an holistic approach and who check the whole mouth and specialize in airway and sleep dentistry.

@@JakesYan For sure, I have been doing myofunctional therapy, but what's helped me the most is working on the suction hold and opening my mouth and stretching my tongue while it's suctioned. I also have been doing dry needling with a Chiro specifically in my jaws and postural muscles and that has helped a TON. Also, what are some exercises or things we can do to prepare the body for tongue-tie surgery, so that we don't experience negative effects (like, as Dr Lam said, anxiety or breathing issues bc we're not primed in the diaphragm)? @@conorharrishey Conor, I have seen a PRI specialist for years who has tried to fix me and has told me I have a posterior cross bite that has created a right cranial torsion and that I might possibly need a tongue tie release. I did my functional therapy and they confirmed that I probably have a tongue tie as well but it's not typical because I have great range of motion. I just can't create suction to keep my tongue to the roof of my mouth. My pri guy tried to set me up with a dentist who decided to do Invisalign for the bite, which didn't work, then we tried the Homeblock which made things worse. He just doesn't have the right resources to fix my issues. How do I get in contact with you to access the type of resources you have? Thanks for any help.

Have not watched to the end of this video yet but would just like to bring up the point that her symptoms of change, i.e brain fog, extreme fatigue, disturbed sleep, joint pain and migraine (all of which I am suffering from) are also established symptoms of menopause and perimenopause. Menopause may or may not be the cause of her “body’s problem” - though she does look to be in the ballpark age to be menopausal - but should be considered by any female suffering with these symptoms, particularly if no teeth/tongue or posture problems are apparent. I do though, concede that some symptoms attributed to the menopause may be caused/exacerbated by the body issues discussed here.

bruh... I'm a periodontist, and I beg you to provide more than just a case study, and i mean, not sure if this is even a case study, just sounds like hyperbole, maybe you need a systematic review? before posting wacky stuff. Before dentists get bombarded by people saying they want to fix their diaphgram. Scalloping of the tongue is due to parafunctional habits such as grinding, but can't jump to say scalloping is caused by posture.. some of the terms 'unstraining the cranium' like I need to show this to my orthodontist buddies cuz this is bonkers. A tongue tie detrimental to posture..i mean cmon...
@b_rit
@b_rit 2 ай бұрын
It's okay that you are not educated on this subject, but to call it wacky is just close minded. A tongue tie can absolutely be detrimental to posture. It does not matter that you are a periodentist, it doesn't mean you have any knowledge on tongue ties and the developmental issues that come with having one. I assume you realize the whole body is connected, so why is it such a stretch to believe that a tongue tie that causes a low tongue posture would then cause other issues throughout the body.
