There's absolutely nothing wrong with having a fun, bought car that's reliable and you don't have to break your fingers every week just to drive. So tired of the "built not bought" argument. Not everyone has the free time to put 100s of hours into a built car. I love built cars and respect them, but the guys that drive them don't get to act holier than thou just because they have more free time on their hands. We are all car enthusiasts, there should be no "built VS bought" just nice cars that we can all enjoy looking at together as enthusiasts, it doesn't make a difference whether its built or bought.

Was stationed at a Nike- Herc Detroit AirDefense site in Union Lake Commerce area in 1966/67 and we would drive east through the giant Pontiac Loop (now Silver Dome) to Ted's on Woodward in Bloomfield. Met a lot of girls but my '62' Catalina was a dog with a low compression truck engine and three on the tree converted to floor shift. I added dual exhaust and a Carter AFB and it was still a dog!
