That is unknown. Perhaps one day we will invent portal hole or fusion powered bullet train that only cost you $50 so jet becomes obsolete. Then KLM and emirates and such all went bankruptcy. Just right before their inevitable fail, you get to fly from London to NYC on first class for $1499.95. just like the K2 train from beijing to moscow.

How have I not seen this one before? Glad you enjoyed Sydney - hands down the best city on the planet. Went there 16 years ago for the first time: been back a further 14 times. It is an exciting, buzzing place.

Maybe a silly question: but wouldn't it be a shorter flight time if you travel from NY to Sydney to just go the other way...so 1st stop on Hawaii, and then onto Sydney?

He was on Emirates, they hub internationally in Dubai. We had a similar experience last December when we went to India then Thailand. On the way back we flew west instead of east through Dubai. I know this is an old video and I don't know if he has a video documenting his way back, but I am guessing he went from Australia to Dubai then on to NY.

He might go to Dubai because planes like to go over land instead of water because if they have an emergency, they would be able to land immediately instead of waiting over water.

There's software for recovering files from SD cards and other media so that could be used as well.
