Hi I have bern looking at yoyr channel, its nice because the information has helped me find a few things I think is a scammer scamming me. I did reverse search with pics of houses he sent me claiming he owns in canada, sloso a pic if a child he sent me telling me its his daughter but the pic was a pic in the hospital, turns out it was a little girl who save her sister in the Uk, back in 2012. Can u help me as I have more info I'd like to send you. The m from Trinidad and Tobago.

@@Saidoromo2024 she may be subtly lying out of preservation for her family, but these two are not the masterminds of this scam. they are very clearly caught up in a money mule scam. She's realizing that they may be in trouble and nervous now. No one knowingly partakes in these scams because of how simple it is to get caught when in the middle position, and the payoff compared to the penalties is not even close to worth it.

I adore how Ashton stays so calm and gives people the benefit of the doubt. He always leaves the door open for believing the best of people and genuinely wanting to help them redirect if they've gotten in a bad situation. The world would be a better place if more people were as genuine and idealistic as he is. I disagree. Ashton plays the devils advocate, he knows exactly what is going on, and uses the ‘what if’ ploy to open the people up. When they jump to Ashtons alternative story he knows 100% these are the culprits. He leads them right where he wants them,

@@PoppiB absolutely could be a “gotcha” trap. It definitely works that way too. My initial comment stemmed from remembering how Ash was the main instigator in nudging some of the call center people to quit the job and then encouraging them as they followed through with doing something else with their lives. Whether it is “benefit of the doubt” or “gotcha trap” (maybe it’s both?), the method works as a filter to separate different levels of complicity in scamming the innocent. He definitely puts a lot more pressure on the mid level money mules than the call center pawns. It’s clear he has less patience the higher up the food chain the target is in the scheme. I still maintain these guys might be open to help the mules get out of the game if they demonstrated remorse, will help find the next levels up in the scam, and have a legit plan to stay out of any scam involvement again.

Possibly both, the loss of face of being exposed is a big thing in Chinese culture. But it could also be those they are laundering the money for they are afraid of, could be one of the triads running things, and they don't take kindly to people who talk. Also seems like it would probably take more than 5% to pull something in to something like this unless one had additional leverage of some description.

That’s what I think too. But the Chinese language I heard here was not even Cantonese. Probably Fujianese (southeast China). I could be wrong, but it’s certainly not Cantonese or Mandarin. I hope Art and Ash finally do bring someone as an interpreter.

NONE of the mules are innocent. At best there might be some case where family members get tricked. Say a son or daughter using their parents place as a mailing address. But the mules themselves ALL know, one hundred percent. Nobody in their right mind will not go "Huh, somebody is sending me thousands of dollars and I keep a bit and send the rest somewhere else."-That is completely normal. Nobody.

The Russian guy is an asset, he knows how to talk to Chinese people. It's a fine balance between interrogation, respect, & patience with a hint of aggression. Because Russia borders China, there is a lot of cultural exchange between the two countries along with a fair amount of respect. So he is pretty good at extracting information from them by just being "Russian" and tapping into his heritage.

If the mules are not shut down and arrested it will continue and they can be in danger as well. They should be reported to the FBI. If they cooperate perhaps they will get parole and not time in prison. This couple needs to go to prison because they lie and steal and hurt innocent people.

Sometimes they use an address where residents may not be home during work hours. What they do is intercept the package and pretend they live at that address and sign for it. They have people watching outside for courier to arrive and meet them at the door or driveway.

It'd be really cool if you guys could get a multilingual interpreter to work with you guys to avoid potential miscommunication. Either way, amazing work! Also: I don't know if you've heard the news. Unfortunately Jim Browning lost his channel to scammers. “So to prove that anyone can be scammed, I was convinced to delete my @KZfaq channel because I was convinced I was talking @KZfaqCreators support, I never lost control of the channel, but the sneaky s**t managed to get me to delete the channel. Hope to recover soon.” he tweeted on the 26th. Just make sure to be careful. These guys are really good at social engineering. Also to anybody reading this. You can still support him on patreon. Let's continue doing our best to take the fight to scammers.

You two do great work. My work computer was being hacked several times throughout 6 months; which the stresses of all of these months of being hacked created extra work for the IT department, a manager not believing I was being hacked, me getting upset at the manager for him doubting me . . my outburst caused my termination at this company. Life, sometimes isn’t fair.

No large camera and no full on confrontation needed. Pointing fingers straight away at a guys wife? These are obviously vulnerable folks who’ve fallen on hard times. Another husband would reach for his gun. They have their google glasses for footage. Should be done discreetly.

here’s where i’m a bit confused: the wife has been changing up her story a few times before bing arrived by saying “he’s not home,” “he doesn’t live here,” and then back to “he’s not home, but i’ll call him.” and then when they were interrogating the couple, she was saying to him privately (in her native language): “don’t admit to something that could get you wrongfully accused. do you always admit to things you didn’t do???” a part of me says that they could be innocent and perhaps naive since they might not realize they are participating in a scam and maybe helping their “china friend” an even bigger part of me says that BOTH of them are 100% guilty and the wife basically got caught in her lies and crumbled under pressure
