Every single 1 is in an elevator building!!! Maybe no in-unit laundry but they all had laundry rooms in the buildings. But what was that $4 sign? If that was just for a washer or a dryer wow, that's expensive. The 1st little studio was cute & not bad for a starter apartment. Considering it's right by the bridge the neighborhood is fairly quiet. The last, studio conversion to a 1 bedroom, was massive. Those 3 are all decent in a doorman building I think, a big plus when packages come & you're not home. Prices are comparable to others in that neighborhood

Again the 3 most important thing with real estate is location location location. No one that rents these places gives a crap you have a cheaper house in the middle of nowhere. There’s more to a place than just the sq footage, which is why every one of these videos start out showing the neighborhood.

In buildings that are older if you press down the number that you want to go to and keep it held down, the elevator will skip all other elevator requests. I learned this trick at my work when I was tired of stopping at multiple floors in the morning to get to my floor.

The first apartment is a Charles Monroe Special, classic and refurbished, but it's small! The second one is spacious and has some touches of luxury, and with two baths it's easily sharable, but it's pricey. The third one is also spacious and with a full-sized kitchen and the windows are clean! But it's really pricey. The converted studio is a decent size and nicely refurbished, perhaps the best deal of this bunch.

I own the lot. I seem to be the 'go to' place for amusement park vaca's. 🙄🤨! That studio would be my 'calgon, take me away' and I LOVE coffee!! A large cutting board for over the sink would cure counter space once veggies are prepped, or a mid size chopping block on wheels.

Ya know... I actually liked that $2750/month studio. I'm easily entertained by these Easy-Bake kitchens, but the unit itself is of a nice size for the money and location, and it is affordable for a couple. It had a nice size bathroom too. The second unit (2 bed/2 bath at $6600/month) was nice but overpriced, IMHO. The one bed ($4300/month) is HUGE but SHEESH... the rent. The last one-bed unit at $3700/month is the best value, IMHO. If a couple could swing extra $1K/month it beats the studio unit hands-down even with its "symbolic" (thanks, NYCgirl) kitchen area. Overall, nice showings in a nice area of Manhattan proper.
