don't forget to short AC (all clear) with + to properly reset the watch after the battery replacement. You should have shown us where the AC contact is

Engraving depth is less than other casios due to less thick base of the case. Simple as that. Keeps the weight down and the cost down as well

I recently bought a Japanese market DW5600e and found the engraving on the back is very faint as well. Not sure what that's all about. I have another that's about 8 years old but the engraving is very sharp.

Could be that the quality is reduced, or just a bad batch
