That's impressive. The F-91W may be inexpensive, but it does everything that a watch needs to do. Plus, it's crazy durable. Truly an icon.

I had this in the 90s and I was regularly swimming, showering, and even diving to up to 5 meters. Actually I almost never took it of my wrist while I had it. Never had a problem.

@@brugm9241 just like @bahorized ... I also did the same...only took it off to clean back case and the whole watch with soap and toothbrush (spare toothbrush for cleaning purpose)...and the result is...the watch looks good as new and nothing is broken including alarm and beep...so yeah no worries

Worked as a dishwasher one summer had this watch on my wrist splashed and often submerged in greasy hot water. It never broke. I was impressed it could deal with the heat of the water for prolonged periods of time. Incredible watch.

Proud owner of f91w 👑. They don't mark the actual water resistance because then they need to add longer warranty

Un mini gioiellino vintage a due soldi e sempre preciso e operativo!!! Pesa circa 20 grammi, super sottile difficilmente lo urti addosso a qualcosa, sparisce sotto le camicie, ingombro zero, adatto a tutti, cronometro, sveglia, segnale orario, luce notturna (si fa per dire, ma c'è), batteria infinita, un bel brand con una storia interessante e longeva, resistente all'acqua. L'UNICO orologio al mondo che vale più di quello che costa. Lo compri per gioco, poi te ne innamori e non vuoi più toglierlo dal polso! Sembrerà assurdo lodare tanto un giocattolino così... ma questo è!!! (almeno per me). 👍👍👍

Typical pressure washer is around 3000psi (200bar) so the watch has a real life pressure rating of minimum of 2000m. Amazing Timepiece!

Not really, it's the pressure the machine produces not the pressure of impact. Still very impressive though.

I wear it in the ocean several days a week and I press buttons underwater- no problems with with this watch.

Depending on the condition of the inner rubber gasket: from 30 meters (2.9419 BAR) to none.

@@newhuskytwenty not exactly. It was tested for 30 meters and-if the watch is in good condition-will guarantee the resistancy of those almost 3 bars of water. They probably didn't test it with more pressure because of marketing and cost reasons. Testing 5 or 10 bar would cost more and if they advertised 5 or 10 bar wr, some people might not buy a g-shock which actually makes casio a bigger profit.

@@dpan8346 quello che vedi nel video funziona ancora e con la sua batteria originale ma non indossato tutti i giorni. Il punto debole è il cinturino, quello dura meno della pila, in ogni caso 5-6 anni li fa sicuro

+To ny Resiste molto più di quanto dichiarato. Magari non farci i tuffi dal trampolino ma una doccia o una vasca in piscina le regge. Il mio va ancora

Repeat the test with the F-91in four-five years, when the rubber gasket is dry & hard. Why do you think that cheap watch and many expensive others (included diving 200 - 300 meters WR models) fail into water, getting damaged? How many F-91 owners change the gasket? None, even if they replace the battery in six or eight years. Result? No longer waterproof.
