I’ve had my black Duro about 2 weeks. Needless to say l love it. It is probably the best watch for under a $100 you can buy. I get numerous compliments daily. One of my associates wearing a Rolex noticed my Duro with nato strap and could not stop talking about it. I’ve also ordered a second Duro in blue. You can dress it up or down. I even purchased a leather nato strap that looks really cool. The Duro is an over achiever, if you love watches it’s a must own.

Loving my new Casio Duro MDV-106 with Black Dial / Green Bezel + Casio Stainless bracelet ! If you need an "out of the box" fabulous looking Dive watch that needs no mod upgrades, this is the ONE ! I hate rubber straps so on my other 2 Duros (Std Black Dial + Blue Dial / Blue Bezel) I had to upgrade to the nice Stainless bracelets. On this, not needed. Casio bracelet is a perfect match - the only way you'll likely object is if you prefer the very heavy thick gauge "Submariner Replica"bracelet - those are $50 alone. So, this works & is BEAUTIFUL on the wrist. It manages to look equally dressy & sporty. How Casio can do this for $65 is beyond me, I'm just grateful they do ! The only 2 possible upgrades would be a domed sapphire crystal & the aforementioned heavy Submariner Replica bracelet l - those 2 mods costing about $90 extra. In any case OUTSTANDING VALUE, RUGGED PERFORMANCE & BEAUTY converge on your wrist !

I never considered buying this watch because it’s a quartz movement. Then I thought what a stupid reason not to buy it. I own one now and I honestly can’t stop wearing it. I wear it more than I wear any of my automatic watches. I wish I bought it sooner!

The Casio Duro looks a lot like the famous Rolex Submariner, in fact if you were to combine / mix a Duro with a Rolex ,you would have a DUREX.

I have had it for a week and checked the time against the atomic clock - and it hasn't lost a single second in a week - WOW. I'm going to mod mine with an Omega Planet Ocean orange bezel and a Omega Planet Ocean leather strap. Not an homage or rip-off I just love the colour orange.

Well ain't that odd! Just yesterday I finally ordered my Duro. After studying many KZfaq reviews, I'm expecting great things.

Small correction, if I may, to an otherwise excellent review: the markers are not applied, they are embossed (well, I think this is the correct term). I also thought they are applied, but I saw a video from LIV Watches, I think, where he did an oil fill mod on the Duro and there you can clearly see the back of the dial. But, again, nicely done, you can hardly tell they're not applied. And for the money, one can hardly complain!

Just received mine with a gold bezel. I can't wait to use it for everything

I’ve owned three; gave one to my dad and one to my best friend, kept one for myself. All three keep perfect time and never get babied. Just bought a $8 repair kit and a dozen batteries so mine will likely live out my days without any need ever to go see a watch repairman. Out of the 25+ watches in my collection box, which range from Weiss manual-wind Unitas to Seiko SKX009 through Georg Jensen and Ole Mathiesen to Baltic aquascaphe and Archimede 39mm Klassik, the Duro is the only one I know I can count on not to let me down, ever. And which watch can you confidently say that about? Thanks for a great review. People who haven’t experienced the common-sense pleasure of owning a less-than-$50 piece of issue and learning how it’s un-killable, easy to service by yourself, and enjoyed simply watching its well-thought out design don’t know what they’re missing.

After researching watches for the last three weeks, I decided that the incta pro diver was the watch for me. Then I watched a review of this watch yesterday, it's a no brainer. I like the idea of a quartz movement, and if I ever pluck up the courage, the Casio looks a good watch for modding. Am in the Uk, 57 pounds on amazon. What's not to like.

Great watch, I have the black and gold version on a black and grey “Classic Bond” NATO strap. I’m very happy with it but wish the second hand had the red tip like the all black Duro.

I have the gold 'G' and the second hand lines up with all the indices. I bought it in August 2020 so maybe Casio fixed the alignment. You should see the gold if you haven't, it's beautiful!

I have two Casio Duro's Black & Pepsi bezels, both on metal bracelets and as an added protection, I have protective glass covers on the mineral crystals just in case I run into any crystal damaging item the world has to offer- both look very luxurious on the metal bracelets, nice and big (easy to read with my old eyes) and you can put a variety of different bands on it to change the look- very nice accurate and affordable watch.

Honestly if the lume was better it would be my favorite watch! It looks good. I like the scratches my bezel has accumulated. I’m thinking about doing a lume mod.

I have had mine for 5 years. I had the crystal replaced that is FLAT. I recommend that. 8 months later and I haven't chipped the bevel on the glass, which I did frequently. Bevelled or bubbled crystals are ridiculous. I see them and I know they stay pristine for one week.

Great watch, especially if you have a 7"+ wrist. I just spent the weekend swimming in the ocean with mine while my Orient Mako II stayed at home. I am on my second Casio Duro. I shattered the crystal and went right back to walmart and purchased another one about 4 years ago. I have the old one for parts. I could put a sapphire crystal in it but costs about the same to just buy a new watch and since it is a beater- sapphire is fairly easy to shatter. The second one actually fell off my arm due to a spring bar failure in the ocean last summer and I managed to catch it by incredible dumb luck. So, I ended up putting a Ritche 'bond' nato strap on it.

I have like countless thousands watched you talking knives ! This is the first time ive watched you talk Watches and this is a classic and you like me have paid a lot more to get less from a watch ? I use mine to heck too and its got more wrist compliments than any watch ive owned ! People cant believe its a Casio? Thats a real supprise to some !!

I've had this Duro about 6 years, first one was similar age but got dropped on tile floor and shattered :(... on 3rd battery, worn daily in hospital setting, been diving, regular swimming, off-road motorcycling often and everything in between..un-beatable..! give G-Shock a run!

Sweet I was expecting 6-10 years. I’ve had mine a few months. Casio Duro utilizes a Miyota Quartz movement, so basically best of both worlds. Casio and The Citizen Group. 🤙🏼 It’s the best $50 dive watch no doubt, I rotate mine with a Promaster Eco-Drive “Limited Edition Unite the Blue” and a Casio MRW-200H with the Miyota 2035 Quartz movement.

Love my Duro. Only wish the battery lasted longer. I get only about 18 months with a quality battery.

I've had my Duro two years now, and just replaced the battery. I also just ordered my second Duro. I'm not a fan of the rubber watch band, because I don't dive. I replaced mine with a Bond type NATO.

I know it's said constantly, but at 40mm it would be an absolute killer. Please, please, please Casio!!

Just got mine, wanted one before the Marlin goes bye bye with the new 2021 models. My sync issues are 2 to 7 ish. And it's about $70-75 Canadian on Amazon Canada. Will be getting a Nato for it though asap.

Hello people, so my watch (same one as on screen) has its third dile jammed or something, don’t know how it happened but I need some knowledge on how to fix it

Crap just for the shortened stem-tube threading, it will wear out the crown threading and fail in time, plus it's not going to seal because it can't compress against the crown's own seal.

Just picked up a Duro in black dial with green bezel and for the money it is fantastic. The case finishing is impressive at the price. The dial is crisp and so is the bezel, which lines up well with the dial indices. I sold off my original "beater" in the form of an Invicta Pro Diver 9937 because I found the quality sub par, bad bezel insert that did not line up with the dial, at all, terrible screw down crown and case finishing( the SW200 movement was excellent , though). This Casio will be my beater, but I love it more than a beater should be loved because itr is endearing for how little it cost($50 at Walmart). Casio is an amazing watch brand and greatly under appreciated.

I just got this watch brand new two days ago. But I can not for the life of me get the date to change right at midnight. Its always in between changing but it literally takes it. 5 to 6 minutes to Findlay click on to the right date. I have tried everything short of taking it apart. But it changes perfectly when I spin the hands manually. What is the problem I am about to send it back. I mean why would the date change great if done by hand. But if left to the watch to change the date I get a different outcome. Please can You help me. Thank You.
