You know, these remind me a lot of the houses in Tarrey Town from Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I remember when I first saw their boxy, modular design I thought to myself, "Man, someone's gotta do this in real life! This is a fantastic idea!" And here you guys have gone and done it. I hope your business is a raging success. My husband and I hope to purchase from you guys in the near future.

Love this! I have been fascinated with tiny homes, but this is an entirely different concept that looks better for a cheaper price. Love the way it says up and looks inside. I am an instant fan, and will follow the development of this company.

This is really beautiful. I would want to be able to customize it a tiny bit. Small apartment sized fridge. No dishwasher to provide more cupboard space. Bedroom room divider push toward the bed more so the living room is slightly bigger. Bathroom near bedroom for more privacy. Put washer dryer in kitchen maybe?

A suggestion: Great idea, but perhaps shuffle the layout a bit, so the kitchen (a common area) is across from the living room, and the bathroom & laundry (a more private area) is across from the sleeping area? Perhaps a (small) desk area for laptop use could be squeezed in under this modified layout, too?

I like it except the bedroom has to be curtained off or whatever to be more private. To have the bedroom sticking out like that is no good. Is there a way to make the bedroom more private; maybe have disappearing sliding doors?

These are mostly for a single person or a couple since it is more like a loft apartment. Why would the bedroom need to be separated? If you're living by yourself...it doesn't really make sense.

The Boxabl Casita is fast and easy to setup. For $50,000 you get a fully finished house. Whats not included in that price is your land and site setup. This can include utility hookups, foundation, landscaping, permits, and more. Depending on your location and the complexity of your site, this cost can range anywhere from $5,000 to $50,000.

You will be responsible for the land and setting it up. Utilities simply plug in on site to the exterior corner of the Boxabl.

Curious about the cost of boxes to add on that have no kitchen or bath or just a bath. Also how long before a factory is up and running. We have waited over a year since the Woolsey fire to get a permit. LA county is brutal... can you pass all of their requirements or is this system in a different category than building a traditional home?

My question is could you upgrade to a second story after you buy the casita? Or do you have to buy a new one just to have access to a second story? And what do you mean by “well provide with more room for bedroom etc once you’re ready”? Are there gonna be extensions or how is that? Other than that I’m actually impressed, even with the pricing. I’m almost certain that I’ll be getting one😄

You can't judge price by square footage cost. Generally bigger homes have lower square footage and smaller homes are higher. I think this will. be the lowest cost home available.

Can it resist Florida category 5 hurricanes? does it have insulation for the florida heat? how does the plumbing work? do you need to have the building foundations, electrical work, plumbing, etc already built on site? can you hang stuff on the walls without breaking the walls? ... lots of unanswered questions.

Yes is exceeds those wind requirements and has an energy star rating. Plumbing connects on site. You can hang hundreds of pounds anywhere on the wall.

CAsita is $50.000. Shipping will be free to AZ, CA, NV, UT. After that you would get a price quote from a shipper. We can ship these anywhere in the world. A rough budget might be $2/mile from Las Vegas. We hope to one day have shipping included to all of the USA.

I like the idea for a tiny home maybe for retirement but at 49,000 for 375 sq ft = $138.00 a sq ft not that great you could hire contractors to build a tiny house cheaper

When are you going to get these out? Because my dream of owning a house is over. I been saving all my money for years but with all the people coming to AZ from Cali (and other places) are driving up our housing market to the point no average Arizonan could ever afford to buy a house. They are coming in at $50k-$100k cash over already insane asking prices. So, I want to get two of these boxes to stack for me and my 2 kids to live in my mom’s backyard. You guys need to make your own loan/mortgage programs too.

This looks like a wonderful IDEA.. However the only way I'd consider it is if it's customizable, or arrives without - morgue color appliances, grey finishes of any kind, canned lights, that hideous vessel sink, a roll in shower instead of a tub. either no dishwasher connection a dishwasher connection on the SAME counter run, to the right of the sink (unless the buyer is left handed) So.. a shell without someone else's decorating aesthetic. Is there a price on just a shell?

1. The dishwasher is to the right of the sink, so I'm not sure what you mean. When you pull it out to load it then it will literally be in the perfect place for right handed people. 2. Morgue color appliances? You mean...stainless steel...the typical ones most people get? 3. I agree about the vessel sink. That's horrid. 4. Canned lights? They are just LED lights that go in most modern houses. 5. The only grey is the countertops...most of the house is white. They had to pick a color for the counters and grey is the most "in" color right now for that. Overall, they catered to most mainstream buyers with the stuff people most often choose to put in a house. I'm not sure what is wrong with that.

The house is very well insulated. In fact, the design is similar to an igloo cooler or refrigerator. All the air will be trapped inside and conditioned. This means a Boxabl will do great in high heat or high cold climates.

Casita comes ready to plug into the site; the site work is not included. That must be set up in advance. Boxabl clients will be responsible for ensuring site requirements are already in place. Plumbing and electrical are already ready to go inside the Boxabl, all you will need to do is have your Boxabl certified contractor connect it to your site.

WHY DOES SUCH A TINY SPACE NEED A MASSIVE FRIDGE AND DISHWASHER? PUT THE WASHER/DRYER WHERE THE DISHWASHER IS. BLINDS BUILT INTO THE DOUBLE PANED WINDOWS WOULD MAKE MORE SENSE THAN HANGING CURTAINS/SHADES.
