Its too bad she never managed to release an official follow-up album to her self-titled debut from 2006. She had an overwhelming amount of hype and momentum back then, but nobody capitalized on it, and eventually it just fizzled out!

I've always been a Cassie fan. I love her voice. I love how she looks. Visually she's one of the most beautiful women on this planet and her voice is so effin' soothing. But I have to honestly say though, that this song and basically every song that came after "Official Girl" hasn't really touched me sonically. Cassie, if you're reading this, don't be upset though. I respect you as an artist and you should do whatever your heart desires - that's an artist's freedom! And it's just my personal opinion, so it basically doesn't matter. I just keep on going back to her old music cause I kind of liked this crossover of R'n'B and Pop that she used to do and that's kind of what I miss in her more recent songs. I like to listen to a song and instantly have it stuck in my head. I had that with her debut album and I can still sing along to most of the lyrics and they bring back so many memories. But maybe that's only the nostalgia speaking. Anyway - I wish you only the best, Cassie! I hope everything turns out the way you want it to.

That’s essentially the only reason to still be assigned to a label: having their backing, expertise, and resources to push her records at radio stations worldwide, and through other avenues. As much as the sound and visuals are stunning, she did display a lot of her body in the video, which is beautiful and because sex sells, most people will notice the visuals before anything else! I've read artists complaining that people don't take them seriously for their music but post or star in half-dressed pics on the gram or music videos

the song is fire🔥 the video is not creative tho. everything in this video has already been done before in other videos. there are much better videos out now. beyonce, kendrick lamar, the weeknd, ariana grande and taylor swift (not even a fan of her) have the best music videos today full of creativity.
