We didn’t fight an adversary that utilized IEDs as their primary offense until the 2000s. The SADF did it in the 80s. Almost, but I will still choose a Ratel. That was the world's first infantry fighting vehicle. I know these two do not compete against each other. But the Ratel is awesome, and still copied to this day. Obvious not appreciated by the overweight girls guides NSADF.

Problem is weight size and turning circles. Weight it cannot enter most parking lots and or shopping center areas, size the very same as it wont fit in the current cash depots and under roofs and on suspended decks etc, and off course the turning circle is the same as the two previous problems. To change all the depots and all the rest that goes with it is more than the money being robbed at the moment so its not really profitable . Ratels would also have been great, the same problems.

I think if you have to buy a military vehicle you buy a vehicle or a truck that can perform specific task's . even if they can say the purpose of this car is to move soldiers from point A to B still this vehicle is not safe . ( The center of gravity is to high ) . and when you transport soldiers they must be protected the vehicle must have a gun , night vision , radar . ect .
