Hi Matthew, I would say around 15 minutes but once hot and the heating is turned off they will retain their heat for longer than most other material types keeping the fabric of the building warm. I hope this helps. Thanks Jason.

@@matthewclark7441 Yes, the element is specified correctly to perform in the same way the central heating would so heating the water up with a similar temperature. I have electric cast iron in my home and although i might be a tad biased (ha) it works exactly as i would expect and the same manner as it would if connected to mains central heating boiler.
