That game against GW was crazy, the one big punt was tucking the ent before drawstep, this meant they drew it one turn earlier than they should have

The UR spells deck is really fun. You look like you are having fun with it too, which is always nice. I hope that other decks find their place in the format. Seeing a fun GW food or WU draw two would be cool too

GW is tough to pull off (durdles like crazy and a lot of cheap/good removal in this format). I haven’t tried UW yet, but because blue is so strong, I bet it’s pretty good. And I’m sure Kenji could make either work, but his best and most interesting content is when he’s playing what he likes or (if I’m being honest) what he loathes.

Went 7-2 in plat with UW. It's good if you have Faramir which is maybe not a bomb but is a must remove. Otherwise the draw two payoffs aren't really that good. Food decks have seemed quite good instead, lots of synergies.

@@jtmotley8848 i did 6-3 with a GW food today, didnt have any of the crazy cards like innkeeper, samwise or rosie. It was mostly peregrin, bill the pony and the watchdogs. It was solid, it only lacked removal. Shire shiriff is great in this deck tho, 2 mana apparition basically. If youre gonna make one try to get rosie cotton and either innkeeper, samwise or peregrin, they all make alot of food, and watchdogs the payoff and super common to draft

surprised to see that Numot thinks the 1R make two 1/1s is just kind of a whatever card in this archetype. it's a great two-drop that's also a Sorcery. probably the best instant or sorcery to cast on turn 2. seems like it should be a staple in this style of deck. was quite shocked to see him take the 1U 2/1 that theoretically sometimes makes a treasure over it

Horses of the Bruinen seems like a better choice over another soothing of smeagol in pack 3. Both are good but as a high end card horses is hard to beat. The fact that it can hit tokens is so good.

forcing? You are trolling if you don't move into UR after seeing sanction pick 7. With UR in this format your deck can legit be a bunch of random spells and one sanction alone can win you several games with lots of card draw

You missed lethal @1:02:19 if you had targeted the 1/1 token it was exact lethal through the food

he can sack the 1/1 to patrol in response, so no damage will be dealt

@@nickchaput219 Actual lethal at that spot is attack before casting your spell. If he blocks the 4/4 army with the 4/5, you can gandalf sanction it in the second main phase doing 6 to face with 2 extra from fiery inscription to total 8
