Arena has become an absolute joke. The more I watch you streamer’s, the more obvious it becomes that the average person (not having partnerships and so on) is just getting rapped up the ace on a daily basis. What you call variance is literally a 97/100 game occurrence for me. I play the same decks you play, and make the same winning plays, the only difference is that I have to mulligan down to 5 cards every single game unless I want to play a two land and never find another land, or have 4 lands of one color with 3 spells of the other and vice versa; and no I don’t draw another land until the OP is so far ahead that God himself couldn’t help me win. The amount of absolute stupidity in this online game has prompted me to start recording. I will become a streamer so that people can tell me how stupid I am for a year. Once they realize I am on to something it will all turn around. Hopefully we can sue these clowns for rigging the game, bc I would be everything I own on this crap being “rigged pig” as you like to call it on an off day. There’s no doubt in my mind at all. The nonsense I have seen this game do to keep me from winning is astronomical odds to say the least. Add all of that with the fact of frequency and I hope to have myself a rock solid case vs WOTC.

@ 45:23 wouldn’t the opponent get the creature back since it returns to its “owner’s control” ?

Man, just had steam start auto updating out of now where during my open attempt.. I was like, what the heck is going on, why is my computer sounding like a jet engine... It was pretty bad.

SPOILER: You played amazingly well to win set 1. The opponent got off to an amazing start each game but you kept your cool when I would have already quit. Super well done.

This draft felt like you outsmarted yourself at the end. You picked up all the ramp and fixing in the world, and then started passing good cards that weren't in your colors... except you could theoretically play any color. The moment you decided to pivot into R/G beats was where things started to go off the rails imo. You didn't have the creature or removal base necessary for that deck at all, and bandit is terrible in a beatdown deck. Plus, the Riku thing was the closest thing you had to a plan to do something powerful. You only had 2 modal spells, but with jailbreak scheme you would have had a third and the lockpicker is kind of a 4th. I wouldn't have run all three Rikus, but you could definitely run 2 and have it be solid. You just need one modal spell for it to pay off: you get a bird and a card out of the deal. If you ever pull it off twice you probably run away with it. Going R/G beats there is odd when you don't have good tricks, good removal, or good creatures. I think I would have ended up 4c, base R/G splashing Riku, lockpicker, bandit, jailbreak scheme, breaches, and 2 desert's due.

I am really struggling to see why you'd *ever* play Boom Box out at 1:03:20. Lola just plotted the Coyote with 5 cards in hand, and there are any number of 4-drops that would absolutely ruin you on an empty board with haste. Holding open Path to Exile always seems like the better play. Not to mention you'd need another land to activate Boom Box the next turn anyway.

I've watched a lot of your drafts recently. You explaining your picks is really helpful. No overthinking in games is a pleasure to watch as well

Decided to give draft a try so I used a draft token for premier. Gave me a network error and no matter how many times I try again it keeps giving me the same error. Tried to go for BO3 one and the same thing happened! So I lost two tokens and have nothing to show for it. Anyone knows how can I fix it pls?

Contagion Engine would be better if it put the counter on first then proliferated, problem is anything that hits after you play it doesn't get affected so it makes it kinda meh.

One of the things I really like about watching you play, other than your skill, is your joy in doing cool stuff :)
