Well this has to be probably the worst cast net throw I have ever made in my entire life. I netted close to over 1000 glass minnows and majority of them got stuck in my net. Pilchards are thick right now and there is some finger mullet are on the jetty. Hope you guys enjoyed the video. Make sure to Like, and don't forget to hit the SUBSCRIBE button for more great videos. By any chance are you still catching the glass fish (baby anchovies)? If you are, I am very interested in purchasing some from you. The only other place that I know where to get them is in Calabria Italy. I want to make a dish that my Nonna used to make but I need fresh baby anchovies to make it with. Please let me know, I live in Naples Florida so it’s not a big drive for me. By the way, your videos are the best and I see that you are also a great cook too, I think that’s great. Please let me know about the anchovies, if you don’t fish for them but a friend does, maybe you can put me in contact with your friend. Thanks so much, keep up the great work.

@SupremeFishingSF 7 жыл бұрын
+King Waltz I usually just bag them in freezer ziplock bags and take all the air out. They stay fresh. I usually have enough bait to last me a couple weeks and then I go catch fresh bait again, because if you have too much and they are in the freezer to long they will freezer burn and turn bad. But right before bait season comes to a close, I will load up on them, that way I have enough until the season starts again. I will do a video on how to bag them.

I am an 11 year old kid named Alex and i love castnetting I once caught a 2 and a half foot bass and he lives in our pond but unfortunately my cast net broke and times are tight right now and i can't get a new one. But, I really love your guy's videos and they help me get my times worth 😃

If your gonna take that much , why dont you invest in a good bait holding tank. Happy healthy bait gets more bites.

You need to be using a 1/4" net for such small baitfish.

+David B this is 1/4 inch. But the glass minnows have a weird shaped mouth that gets stuck in the net.

+David B I seen some guys use a smaller mold but it wasn't 3/16. I think they got a custom net. None of the glass minnow got stuck.

Cruel! You guys don’t need that many bait, and your bait are dying because there is too many bait in a small bucket of water. Invest into a frabil minnow bucket or something you can submerge into the water with a string tied on, they will last longer. Instead of keep killing thousands of baits! SMH!

Shimano ForLife Bro, they die fast so some even died before he even got them out and some died before they even hit the floor so shut up. SMH
