The Castillo De San Marcos, is one of the most historic places in all of St. Augustine, FL, the nation's oldest city. It is also the oldest masonry fort in the US, with construction beginning in 1672, and completing in 1695.
It is made entirely of coquina.
If you are interested in history, then the Castillo De San Marcos is a MUST SEE, when in St. Augustine!

Loving history and being able to see places like this that I may never get to see in person makes my day. I live only a few miles away from Chickamauga Battlefield and Point Park on Lookout Mountain here in North West Georgia and can spend all day there. I know this video was an hour long but it took me 2 hours to watch it because I hit pause so many times to read the signs and look at the pictures. Thanks for taking us along.

Great tour! I was there once. Thanks for sharing. I love history. I believe that God is Sovereign and is guiding and directing history. I believe that history is His Story.
