I’m more familiar with the Jack Kirby Alpha Flight era comic books, but yeah Alpha Flight is definitely a sleeper group of characters Marvel hasn’t used yet. They’re just as fascinating as the X Men is some ways. I’m at work constantly telling co workers about Alpha Flight, drawing images of how the characters look, etc. and no one knows them..

How would Box be brought in because there was lots of good stories while Box was part of the team.

Great casting! EDIT: As I said that you mention Dan Levy, which I don't see as a good casting for Northstar on the simple basis that he's already 38. Even if they started filming tomorrow he would still be 5 years too old.

I disagree with you on one point. Aurora should be the point of view character. Between the two Northstar has the bigger personality. He’s a flamboyant, extroverted show-off much like Johnny Storm and isn’t well suited for relatability. Aurora is the more reserved, introverted one, the one who is more hesitant to take action in the beginning. Much better for POV. This way our POV character has more room to grow. And as a slight difference, a Streaming TV series rather than a movie. More time for character development. You could probably kill off Guardian in season 1 and have Vidicator step up and take his place. In season 2 you could then bring in the trainee team - Beta Flight - with Talisman as a member. Also, Guardian has the best flag suit ever. 😁

I've recently started reading Alpha Flight and getting into them. I'm not Canadian, but I'd love to visit Canada someday. Guardian/Vindicator... it's confusing... both James and Heather have used both monikers depending on what comic you're reading.

Great video... the only way I see this film/show working and make it different it to set it in the mid to late 70's. Using 70's filmstock that CBC used. With flashbacks to Northstar's involvement with the FLQ. A great scene would be him unknowningly being involved with the kidnapping of Pierre Laporte and ultimately trying to save him. Then quitting the FLQ movement in disgust.

Interesting choices. My casting is mostly corner gas and letterkenny cast members. Plus some CBC actors as well Kim Cloutier as Aurora Gregory Waters as Northstar Nancy Robertson/Cathy Jones/Mary Walsh as Marina Brent Butt as Sasquatch. With him being an Alpha Flight as well, I think he would enjoy it I agree with Jordan Prentice as Puck. If political correctness wasn't an issue, than K. Trevor Wilson to fill the role Lorne Cardinal as Shaman Tara Spencer-Nairn as Snowbird, as I prefer Kaniehtiio Horn as Talsiman. Also I think snowbird is an rcmp officer as her alter ego, and Tara has experience as that from corner gas. Paul Gross for The Guardian, and Caroline Dhavernas as Vindicator, as those two actors have shown great chemistry in Passchendale And of course Jared Keeso as Wolverine I think casting should be kept as Canadian as possible ie Michelle Mylett as Purple Lady

What about Ty Domi as Puck? He’s vertically challenged, we know he can fight, and he’s old enough for the Razor storyline. ;-P

Puck would be better off using the same effects that were used with Antman or dwarves in The Hobbit films. Also, a film credit for Howard the Duck really doesn't carry much weight IMO.

Also just cause you like Dan Levy doesn't mean he's right for the character.
