I knew about Alpha Flight through several issues of their comic book when I was a little kid. Sasquatch, Marrina, and Puck were the three members of that team that I knew about.

Alpha Flight needs a movie, and it should be filmed in different parts of Canada, that includes Nunavut, British Columbia, and Ontario. It will be amazing.

Thank you for this. Alpha Flight is one of my favorites as well when they were first introduced in X-Men (The Uncanny X-Men #120) I still have all the Alpha Flight issues when they were first published (1983 - 1994)

I remember reading X-Men where alpha flight takes on the x-men. Storm vs. Vindicator looks so cool. The forces of nature, wind,rain and lightning from storm vs soil, rock and lava from Vindicator. It's like sky vs earth.

I guess to most Alpha Flight don’t have a seat at “The Cool Kids Table.” In any case, I love them. Before Wolverine called The X Men home, he was part of Alpha Flight. The one thing I didn’t know about Sasquatch was that he came to be after Walter Lankowski did his own variation of the gamma experiment and it created the superhero. he’s just like the Hulk but there are two differences. The first difference is that he is a big hairy creature like Bigfoot. The second difference is that Sasquatch is more brain than Braun and the Hulk is more brawn than brain.

Not quite. The experiment to create his own variation on Hulk freed one of the Great Beasts which possessed Langkowski, so he’s not gamma powered or gamma infused at all. He’s got a super strong demon beast inside him.

Alpha Flight never got enough respect and coverage. So much opportunity, but lacked strong / prominent writers. There primary roster could rival the Avengers, with Guardian or Vindicator being Captain America and Iron Man all in 1 (albeit a bit less of each), but still. Shaman rivaling Dr. Strange, Sasquatch rivaling Hulk, etc... etc. This should have been one of the most prominent Super Hero teams ever.

I think Shaman has been greatly under-used in the MC world. Not only would I love to see a movie about Alpha Flight, but I would like to see that movie hone in on Shaman.

Snowbird was turning into a white version of Sasquatch there. She started doing that after Walter Langowsky died...and was also the reason he came back...when Snowbird died. Alpha Flight was f'ed up, man.

I didn't think Madison's powers were what allowed him to phase into machines. When Madison helped Roger Bochs rebuild Box they added the phasing tech as a genetic lock on the armor. Madison added his genetic sequence in the program as a failsafe which he used when Roger Bochs went mad

Mac didn't destroy his original suit: he used it to destroy the plans and fly away, but then left the suit abandoned outside the plant, believing it useless without the cybercon helmet he developed before AmCan. Hydra later used the original suit designs briefly.

When I was a kid, I loved Alpha Flight.... as I got older, watching many, many singular "heros" defeat the entire squad got me pissed off. Kinda like the entire WWE roster beating a Barry Horowitz, even though he had more talent in his little finger than some of the so called stars. But hey, you gotta have jobbers, amirite?

I remember someone thought that this was an Americans idea of Canada. Names like Puck and Sasquatch. Shaman sounds like a copy of Dr. Strange. Why would a Canadian citizen be in the Vietnam War?
