Always fun fishing a striper & bluefish blitz! Found some birds working early on but the striped bass were picky, the Hogy epoxy jig got it done!

great video man, been picky for me down there lately, interestingly enough last trip down I had to pick up a spear fisherman who was diving with his buddy, lost em but my friend found em almost 1/8th mile away!!! dude jumped in my boat and I brought em over to his friend....hurts when im skunked and this guy brings up a ring with two keepers on it LOL....great videos as always man!!!

Johnny, do you think the snap scares away any fish? I fish sluggos and epoxy jigs exclusively all season, but tie directly to the line. Would like to try the convenience of a snap though.

Oh yea the TA clips are very convenient. Maybe during a really picky feed they might be lure shy with the clip on, but most of the time i don’t have an issue with stripers and blues. For albies I almost always tie direct though

Jonny what weather app do you use, it seems like you find good weather days on days my apps says 2 or 3 footers in Rhody
