Castor Oil For Hair Growth | Castor Oil Challenge Update

Hey y’all ! I have decided to do a castor oil challenge that was created by a KZfaqr named ‪@HairliciousInc‬
Here is an update from when I started (December 5th) to December 27th. I really just wanted you all to see my hair before I got my trim. From now on I will be doing monthly updates.

She has 3 levels to this challenge:
Basic Level: Applying Castor Oil to a clean scalp 1-2x/week.
Advance Level: Applying Castor Oil to a clean scalp 2-3x/week.
Ultimate Level: Applying Castor Oil to a clean scalp 2-3x/week. Add 1tsp of Castor oil to your deep conditioner.
I will be doing the ultimate level. I will definitely keep you all updated once a month.

I don't like the smell of that Jamaican Black Castor oil. But I did find Via Black castor oil in a clear tube. It smells so good and it's growing my hair.

Do u use the black caster oil alone by itself? or mix with other oil prior to use?

I see a light difference in thickness from the challenge. I would keep up with the every 8 weeks since she didn't cut off too much. Now after your trim? Overall your hair definitely looks healthier and thicker.

Please stop voicing these comments to Black women. Women are allowed to wear their hair however they want and is convenient for their lifestyle. The idea that wearing a wig is because someone does not like their texture or length is ignorant, and almost always specifically an assumption made about BW.

They dont grow your hair they just make it look neater when your actual hair grows underneath. You should be proud of natural hair its beautiful wear it naturally no wigs @@TiffanyAndrea

In high school when I decided to transition from relax to natural, black castor oil grew my natural hair so much! I would definitely use some oil. I forgot what the 3 step method is called but I think you put oil as the last step.
