Haha, that full ammopack by spawn is a remnant from before we gave giants a self-dispenser - we wanted defending giants to always have enough ammo. None of us are spy mains but we did try to have a bunch of fun spots for spy, so I'm glad it paid off!

I consider this type of video very lovely and relaxing, it's kind of nice seeing you comment your own gameplay along with your opinion on each of your plays

There are a lot of Halloween maps that I think deserve to stay year-round, but if Valve were to keep any of them, I'd really hope for Crasher. This map is phenomenal and is so unique.

I really like this new type of video, post-live commentary that is, it feels like "how a spy thinks" but with more of your personality and a very nice vibe. Only "critique" would be that when you explain how YER works and disguise speeds its a bit dragged out and feels like you should be focusing more on the gameplay. (or if not you can maybe just chat about general stuff, would fit the vibe imo and mean that you dont have to analyse standard spy gameplay/ go too in depth on basic things, but if not i understand, since you have a lot of viewers who arent experienced spies). Oh and also, that crumpkin tip is really neat, Ive never noticed it, but thats probably because i barely play scream fortress Anyway, nice killstreaks, and another awesome hintshot video :)

As someone who plays almost exclusively with the YER, lemmie give you a tip which can make it SO much easier! You can disguise as a friendly spy for free. As I'm sure you're aware, using your disguise kit to become a friendly spy just makes you drop your disguise. This is PERFECT for when you've stabbed a heavy or something, then find a lone target who's perfect but too fast for your disguise. You can even undisguised while cloaked!

thing i love about this knife (and y it's my most used one) is that when more agressive (like chainstabs or just not only going for the engies/snipers) so when u kill, the enemy team can now see a undisguised/uncloaked spy, and can try kill it. with the YER, the enemy atleast has to use some thinking to see that there was a heavy and soldier, and now only a heavy with no signs of the soldier's death so it's probally a YER and they should check the heavy, and in pubs, your rarely going to see that thought process. also i think it would good to do a mix of live and post commentries for my opinion

Because I've trained myself to listen for the sound the knives make when hitting, Ive found myself catching YER spies behind me more often.

I really enjoy these types of videos over those ones that show ONLY the highlights and frags that are on other channels. Seeing other people make mistakes or come across unavoidable deaths makes me feel better about getting caught out as Spy. Keep it up, cheers.

It's fascinating to me that you hold on to slower disguises on this map. Crasher is extremely abundant in ammo pickups and senseless players. You even said it yourself at several points that you were "too slow" to get certain picks, even though if you had immediately swapped for a medic disguise previously, you would've had ample time on the exact same route you took to both pick up an ammo kit and get the stab, leaving you with a +1 and full cloak. I mean, there are on or two cases where I'd hold onto a demo or pyro disguise on some maps where ammo is more scarce, but holding onto a heavy disguise for longer than it takes to swing my knife is dispose of it just seems like a universally inadvisable action.

YER is so useful because it’s so much more consistent; you get to actually get a second stab or get away after backstabbing! Not to mention how spy works best when the other team isn’t aware that there might be a spy who’s killing the entire team

The more I think about the random spots for rather generous amounts of ammo packs the more I think that maybe this map was actually made by an Engineer main. Maybe.

Have you heard of the wonders of dirty shirt gaming? Apparently putting a folded cloth like a shirt under your keyboard helps deafen the clicks. Hope that helps.

i remember way back i had a phase where id used to play a ton of mannpower using the yer; it was really fun and i believe it was before you could disguise by using your cloak metre. i had a strange saharan spy set back then; i wonder how many kills i had on it

i love the YER, people shill a bit too much over the kunai but tbf, i rather leave the heavy+ medic gf tank the shit while i go behind and pick away the more annoying classes, kunai way too overrated

They seriously don't allow spy to backstab? Missed opportunity to be honest to allow spy to do damage he'd normal if they'd normally when they're not a giant. So if a a giant heavy gets backstabbed he'd take 1800 damage. 4 backstabs to a giant given the risk of backstabbing a giant. It'd give spy a similar role to mvm as a giant destroying a destroy large chucks of health from giant

how viable is it to declaok right behind someone? do you get a lot of deaf people when you play?

I've learned how to win crasher. Blutsager med. You can get 1200 damage out of your clip, and restore 120 health. You can heal classes to gain their speed, right? So you can heal a scout and go as fast as him, WHILE A GIANT. Hopefully, this works. But brass beast giants shred through this, so ..
