DIY Diesel Service. DIY and save over one thousand dollars.Caterpillar 3126B/E HEUI No adjustments required on these injectors.
I put together a playlist of KZfaq's best 3126B/E injector info. Find it on my channel page. Useful entertainment.
Diesel engines have been around for over 100 years. Everyone should know how they work.
I have:
No $1000 special tools
No $700 service manual
No $400 a piece injectors
No $700 software
No $100 an hour labor rates
Although I have never done this before, I'm sure I could R&R all 6 injectors in a short day. Maybe another day if I had to R&R the sleeves/cups, making my own special tooling. I intend to clean the carbon deposits from the cups and inspect them and then install 6 quality re-manufactured injectors for $160 each. You could pay $300 to $400 for reman injectors if you wanted to (Plus Labor). Test and new o-rings can be done for $20-$50 each (Plus Labor). I think the PO just stuck any old used injector in there without even using new o-rings. Anyway, I want to know exactly what I'm starting with. I removed all 6 injectors without a problem. Install video coming soon. I'll go back in there later and adjust the valves, That should be fun.

The Cat 3126 B / E is installed in medium duty trucks ie Chevy GMC TopKick C6500, school buses, RVs, heavy equipment and boats.

A medium lady slipper would work PERFECT for leverage to get those injectors out. Your tool is great for not having anything 👍👌. Great video

You can get those metal rings with over lapping edges at the caterpillar dealer. I just got those o-rings and the metal rings today for the same engine. While browsing videos I found yours, pretty cool videos. Thanks, keep it up man!

@ jcook007fix your pretty much right... fuel from the tank get drawn from the transfer pump gets filtered, first then heads to the cyl head.... upon where its flown through all 6 injectors.... where high pressure oil is used as a hydraulic piston to push a very small needle and a small amount of fuel "pressed" together creating the high pressure the fuel needs to be when injected into the cyl

I magnetized my Injection wenches so I don't loose bolts as much, there not fool proof but do help.

Those injectors look exactly the the T444E, or the 7.3L powerstroke injectors.

Hello, Kind time of day if it is possible prompt what pressure of oil is necessary for work of such atomizer?

Hey man could I get the dimensions of your tool so I can make one to have in my tool box? I am sure I could get close by just pausing and looking at it and all, but if you don't mind I'd like to know how think the hook is at the bottom and everything? Thanks!

Hello, i changed the injectors on a 3126b all was ok and after a week when is hot it whount start i must wait until is cold then starts quick, can you tell me what to do next thank you
